I am cautiously optimistic that they will have good cases against these two pieces of vermin and that the investigation wasn’t botched up beyond repair.
Life in prison with no chance of parole or death penalty if available.

Atwater has a criminal record dating to 2004, including charges of robbery, drug possession and resisting arrest. He was due in court earlier this month on a breaking-and-entering charge.Did he show up for court? Did anyone go get him?
In 2006, he was sentenced to 24 months' probation for possession of a firearm as a felon. He had a court date on that charge the week before Carson's death.

I am glad these monsters are off the street. They should have been in jail instead of walking the street. This is another murder that could have been prevented. My heart goes out to Eve’s family.
