Durham, N.C. — Heavily armed Durham police, surrounding a house before dawn Thursday, captured the second of two men charged with murder in the shooting of the student body president at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Lawrence Alvin Lovette Jr., 17, surrendered to officers from the department's Selective Enforcement Team outside a house on Cook Road at 4:16 a.m. Police had surrounded the house hours before after receiving an anonymous tip through the Durham County Sheriff's Office

They said early on that there was no sexual assault. I expect that the DNA is to match with genetic material such as hairs found in her SUV and maybe flesh under her fingernails.
They would not need anyone from the NC Medical Society if they just shoot them, hang them, throw them to the lions, etc..

NC keeps electing Democrats in power primarily because of their power base in the NEA TEacher’s union and the State Employees (Government workers union)....and the “yellow Dog Democrats” who keep voting Dem because their papa did and their papa did....and the African American vote....and the trial lawyers suppoert....and the misguided liberal lefties who heavily hang out in the UNC professorships, the Major newspaper writers, the major Television stations (WRAL is one) ...and a weak Republican party statewide.
The Dems have a very strong MACHINE that is so corrupted by its continuing power.....it is killing this state.

Most of us are so used to the IN Justice Systems that we have given up long ago of hoping to improve things...
He could shave it off, but he didn't have the brains to know that people who knew him wouldn't forget that he had it, and that he might have to supply a reason for shaving it off so soon after the photos appeared.
Expect more of the same if Obama is elected.
