Inside the hush-hush North American Union confab

WASHINGTON -- A largely unreported meeting held at the State Department discussed integration of the U.S., Mexico and Canada in concert with a move toward a transatlantic union, linking a North American community with the European Union.

The meeting was held Monday under the auspices of the Advisory Committee on International Economic Policy, or ACIEP. WND obtained press credentials and attended as an observer. The meeting was held under "Chatham House" rules that prohibit reporters from attributing specific comments to individual participants.

The State Department website noted the meeting was opened by Assistant Secretary of State for Economic, Energy and Business Affairs Daniel S. Sullivan and ACIEP Chairman Michael Gadbaw, vice president and senior counsel for General Electric's International Law & Policy group since December 1990.

WND observed about 25 ACIEP members, including U.S. corporations involved in international trade, prominent U.S. business trade groups, law firms involved with international business law, international investment firms and other international trade consultants.

No members of Congress attended the meeting.

The agenda for the ACIEP meeting was not published, and State Department officials in attendance could not give WND permission under Chatham House rules to publish the agenda.

nor, did I call anyone *a scumbag traitor who chases wealth at the expense of his country*.

Ahem:

Would you be *comfortable* with a One World Socialist Government? You know, as long as it didn't screw up your personal portfolio.

But hey, I'm sure you didn't mean he would choose his portfolio over his country when you said he was choosing his portfolio over his country.

I do believe there are people who do and feel everyone needs to be aware of them. Got a problem with that?

I have no problem with people who make baseless accusations against anyone who disagrees with them and then scratch their heads wondering why they aren't taken seriously. I also don't have any problem with people who assume any objection to their arguments or conduct is an attempt at censorship and then scratch their heads wondering why they aren't taken seriously. I have no problem with these things because they give me a chuckle.

No. The mentality was the same. Leaving us a Globalist as our only option.

The Bushies and the McCainiacs are no different with how they justify their votes, cheerlead their efforts, and force feed their candidate.

The detractors or opponents are the same today as in 2000 as well. However, their numbers have dwindled and that is due to the fact the small government Conservatives are a thinning breed. No thanks to Bush and his administration. The argument is lost that the Republicans can do anything other than continue the status quo (arrogant pigs).

Unfortunately, the result will be more arrogant, ever expanding global government (thanks to these voters).

I don't know how to put that in purple.

I’m a globalist. I added globalist@nwo.gov to my profile here as soon as I registered in 1999.

Ah...the old "I'm not sure you're 100% in agreement with me therefore you must be a globalist who is against American sovereignty" routine.

I suspect your fellow travelers will be envious of your bold initiative. Why not start a blog? I’m sure Soros will fund it.

No he won't, unfortunately. He'll fund you because you are "raging against the Republican machine."

As an aside, during my "head"y days in Ann Arbor, I bought a Greenpeace sticker to slap on my girlfriend's F-150. But I took a razor to it, and instead of "Think Globally, Act Locally," I changed it to "Think Locally, Act Globally." Then I replaced the Greenpeace globe with that of the U.S. Marine Corps. I was a legend in that town. Man, those were the days . . . .

And here is the: “who gives a sh*t what you think” retort.

I really don’t care for those who:

1. Take the position of the state over the individual
2. Vote for a tax increase
3. Hand out money to global influences
4. Side with lawbreakers (or democrats)
5. Work to take away our right to defend ourselves

Where do you stand?

Not that familiar with the fallacy of asking someone to prove a negative, I see.

That's a new one in your long list of failed attempts to divert from answering my very simple and clear question.

That’s ok, there was a meeting that Corsi attended and can write about, but since he can’t identify individuals, it’s evidence of Bush’s conspiracy. Got it.

That doesn't answer my question! What are your sources to refute Corsi's claim the meeting was held to advance the SPP and NAU? Got it?

Man, you have a serious problem, since my contention is about the way Corsi goes about "proving" anything (i.e., it's not a matter of what was actually discussed, but rather the journalistic rule "imposed" by the State Dept. that proves it). So I suppose that this is another instance in your long list of failures to understand a basic concept. Are you just playing stupid, or is it a prerequisite for your crowd?

You are in denial. Here are your words:

Try using a little common sense instead of making erroneous presumptions. I wouldn't have asked the question if I knew the answer in advance. There was never an explanation given as to why the thread was moved from News/Activism to Bloggers and Personal even though the thread fit the definition of the former. Even if you disregard that fact it still is all the more curious the thread was moved back to News/Activism after I raised the question. It's interesting you claim I'm in denial even though you make such claims despite my remarks clearly show the contrary.

That clearly implies that the management here is knowingly helping someone destroy the American Republic.

The only implication is in your head.

Stop being a little girl and own up to your assertion.

When all else fails resort to insults. Very clever.

Now your making personal attacks. Very creative. I'll just add that to the growing list of obfuscation to avoid naming your sources. You could have stated this latest concocted excuse in your original post instead of waiting until post #216. You should try and focus. This is the most ridiculous excuse yet considering the title of the article Inside the hush-hush North American Union confab specifically deals with Corsi's claim the meeting took place to advance the NAU cause.

Any luck yet finding those sources?

I see the implication bug has also infected your head. How are those sources coming along?
