I forgot to mention that executions are on hold here (as they probably are in most states) pending a decision in the Baze v. Rees case before the US Supreme Court.

That's the case where the Supreme Court will decide whether lethal injection as it's practiced in most states constitutes cruel and unusual punishment under the 8th Amendment. The Court will probably rule that it isn't.
