Evict the military recruitment station, cage the recruiters!
Pittsburgh Organizing Group ^ | 12 March 2008 | Pittsburgh Organizng Group

On Wednesday, March 19, POG will be holding a torch-lit march to a modern day castle of abominations—our local military recruiting station. If the station remains open, we intend to evict it and everything inside of it, occupy the location, and transform it into something useful for the community. We'll also be bringing a movable cage in which to confine military recruiters until they no longer pose a danger to our friends and neighbors. Of course, the station may be closed and recruiters may flee or hide behind the police apparatus that enables the war to continue. That is often the case, and we've seen in the past the overwhelming resources the state directs against these anniversary events because of their importance as a symbol of dissent. We believe in acting effectively, in confronting the war, at times and places of our choosing. When the state brings the resources necessary to suppress direct action against the war, it makes sense to hold a symbolic protest, and we still consider that a success, as it exposes the reality that it is ultimately on the local level that our countries war policy will be decided.

The military should allow this to happen and instruct the recruiters to not resist other than a loud and protesting statement that they do not want to go into the cage. Perhaps some minor physical resistance but allow themselves to be put into the cage.

Then, from their pockets, call the FBI and notify the FBI that a kidnapping of a Federal Officer is in progress. Arrest, charge and prosecute all involved under federal law.

That is the perfect way to deal with it.

The “peaceful ones” are planning to hit one of our recruitment stations this Saturday. They are mean and nasty folks. Just because I have a DOD sticker on my car, my car is a target. This is BS and it HAS TO STOP!

I’m going to try to be there to stand up to these pukes, but I think I’ll take the bus.

I consider this type of thinking impossible to explain or understand. May God protect our military.

Let me ask you this? With the way the country is going now does it look like anyone is paying attention?

Oh let me correct that, yes the Feds are paying attention to the Central Banks paying attention to Goldman Sachs and other mega financial oligarchies whom are raping the American taxpayer short and long-term until we are broke, they are beyond rich and We the Sheeple are fully under their control for global socialistic experimentation. Because of course, to them, all global citizens act and think just like all responsible Americans. This will work out just fine, I am sure (sarc off).

I was just talking to my husband about this. Considering we are at war, wouldn’t the abduction/kidnapping of a federal MILITARY officer really be treason, and not just kidnapping?

Arm the recruiting station with rubber bullets and open fire as a good American platoon does on America’s enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC.

Because back then America was still about decimating the enemy until full surrender. Now it’s about being sensitive to our enemies, America IS the enemy and must be restructured, gays are great! Islam is the religion of peace! Our best and brightest financial minds are wonderful patriots! LOL, sickening but We the People will come out from under their thumb. I think half the population forgot that 10% of us starving and poorly armed ‘true Americans’ defeated the greatest military machine on earth by 1780 and won our liberty.

I am from the Pittsburgh area. Morons and dregs that would try to do something like that would do it at great risk and peril to themselves. I do not know about today; that was yesterday.

Every time I see one of those “Dissent is Patriotic!” bumber stickers I just laugh out loud. The people who have those wouldn’t know a patriot from a communist.

I tried to do a whois look up and got errors. I went to their site they are a scary bunch. It looks more like an anarchist site, well organized and training for this. Is there anyone in the area who can at least contact the recruiting center and give them a heads up. I like the idea of a Squad of MP’s being on the scene. Since my son’s one I know what training he went through and they’d get a can of Whoop-ash handed to them if they came on the property.

Morons. Dissent CAN be patriotic, but it certainly isn't always the case. These morons think any and all dissent is by definition right and proper.

From Michelle Malkin's site:

The anti-recruiter movement: Bombs, vandalism, assassination threats, and now a call to “cage” the troops

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 12, 2008 09:10 AM

Important update here.

***
Documenting the war on military recruiters that no one else will document, I turned my special blog report from last week into today’s syndicated newspaper column.

The nutball who threatened to bomb the Gathering of Eagles has upped the ante:

These people are off the wall, and this guy should be investigated.
