Next week in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, anti-war lunatics are planning to storm a military recruiting office and imprison the recruiters in a movable cage.
"On Wednesday, March 19, POG will be holding a torch-lit march to a modern day castle of abominationsour local military recruiting station. If the station remains open, we intend to evict it and everything inside of it, occupy the location, and transform it into something useful for the community. Well also be bringing a movable cage in which to confine military recruiters until they no longer pose a danger to our friends and neighbors."
Fort Lewis officials are alerting soldiers and their families to avoid the Tacoma Mall between noon and 5:30 p.m. March 15 because of a planned anti-war protest at the commercial center of Pierce County.
Mall officials are preparing accordingly.
Local protest groups have announced their intention to “shutdown” the Tacoma Mall, specifically the military recruiting station in the commerical tower located on the north side of the property. The building does not fall under mall management.
Calls for protest claim the groups want to “make it impossible for business as usual to continue as the Iraq War approaches its fifth year.”
“We are aware of their intentions to protest,” the mall's Marketing Director Sarah Bonds said. “We do not allow potests [sic] on our property.”
The mall plans to notify protesters of that policy when they arrive and take other measures as needed, she said, noting that the mall will be meeting with police and security officers to develop detailed plans to handle the protest in the coming days.
Military officials warn that protesters plan on distributing anti-war and anti-military literature as well as confront local recruiters or interact with soldiers, family members and civilians who appear to be military affiliated.
Recent protests against the war at the Port of Olympia have been marked by increased levels of violence, the military alert reports.
I am getting increasingly angry at the direction America is headed. It is not the America I served as a Marine. On a more personal level, I am worried for my son’s safety. He is a Marine recruiter. I have already informed my Senators that I will not take it lying down if he is physically harmed in the course of his duty.
My family’s name has already been smeared by that POS judge in California. The punks are not going to be happy until someone gets hurt. Let it be known, here and now - my son gets hurt, you better find a hole net to bin Laden, because I will give you a new understanding of pain. No threat, a promise.
A sure sign that we are so superior to these morons is that no one has taken one of them out with a well-placed shot between the eyes.
I make it a point to flip them off when I drive past their protest on Forbes Ave.
Not only unlawful imprisonment, but "Interference With a Sworn Federal official in the Performance of Duty", which is, likewise, a felony...
The moonbats could be stupid enough to try it, but it could prove costlier than they imagine...
the infowarrior
If it's a torch-lit march, I would assume that it will happen at night. Last I knew, most recruiting stations are open business hours...8 to 5, more or less.
Seems a pretty safe position for these moonbats to take. "We're going to LOCK UP ALL the RECRUITERS that are there!!! (are they gone yet?? how 'bout now? ok, good.) COWARDS!!!! It's a good thing we didn't get here until 2am, or there would have been TROUBLE!!!"
Fools all.
The only thing the Marines have to do to protect themselves is to hang a Terrible Towel at the entrance. They will be promptly rescued by the local populace.
Lets see em try... Federal Charges for all... Lets see how the brats who think sacrifice means showing up for some protest because their cell phone text message says so and having to TIVO their favorite TV show instead of watching it survive inside a federal prison.
The next topic for dicussion is on Anarchism.
Cindy is co-organizer of the annual Renewing the Anarchist Tradition conference
Irony, defined. Sometimes you can't make things like this up.
They won’t do it. They’ll show up with a cage, with one of their own people in it with a sign around his neck that says, “Military Recruiter.”
These people are truly insane. Sooner or later they will have to be put down.
If I knew which recruiting station this was planned for, I’d say time to have an all night vigil.. I got no problem spending my evening standing in front of the office waiting to stair down these cowards.

I certainly hope they buy some carbon credits for those torches.
Where: Meet at the dinosaur sculpture in front of Carnegie Library (4400 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh,
I'm quite certain that, if permitted to do so, those recruiters can defend themselves and their post with extreme effectiveness.
Marines don’t need rescued, they just need unchained (in the bureaucratic sense)!
Torchlit parade? How about a nice coincidental gasoline spill.
That America still exists, and thank you and your son for defending her.
Unfortunately, she is under siege now from domestic enemies ...
They're not fools. Not at all.
They have friends in MSM, and said friends will paint them as "heroes". For many, even today, MSM = Reality.
They're evil, but they do know what they're doing.
