The latest CDC report in a health survey of 838 teenage girls nationally indicates that one out of every four teens has a sexually transmitted disease. We are living in the age of AIDS, and dangerous and new forms of STDs and herpes, and for some reason the old media seems to imply that what a political representative does with a prostitute is his own private affair.
And yet we know from numerous studies that prostitution is one of the significant contributors to the spread of HIV/AIDS, and such studies also show that it is not only a life-threatening concern for those who participate in such activity but to the immediate family of those who have had husbands or wives who have had relationships with prostitutes. The husband who engages in such activity and becomes infected by a prostitute then later transmits HIV/AIDS or other STDs to his wife.
So, I ask seriously, shouldn’t Spitzer, Democrat from New York, be tested for HIV/AIDS and other STDs before he engages in sex with his spouse? Actually, I doubt any sensible spouse would again have sex with this person who, being so entrapped in vice, news reports have published accounts that he has spent over $80,000 dollars for sex with numerous prostitutes over the years – I would think that such a spouse would have very serious concerns for her own health.
Not only should he be tested, he should publicly pronounce the dangers of HIV/AIDS and STDs and that he is undergoing such testing to set an example for the youth of our nation.
I doubt that's ever going to happen again.

So yeah, this scumbag should be tested, as should all cheaters.

I don’t doubt the CDC numbers but this is a subversive attemp to push the HPV vaccine. You notice there are no mention of males in the study.
I fell this because our own governor good hair tried to force us to vaccinate our pre-pubescent daughters. Even my wife’s OB/Gyn tried to get us to do our 16 year old. She listened to his spiel and politely said she’ll get it when she needs it right before she marries.
Yes you naysayers can say we are naive but we know our daughter and she is a virgin and committed to being one when she marries and marrying one.
I doubt whether he is gettin any at home.
The only risk here is that Spitzer might give himself an STD when he takes a shower all by himself.

I said that 25 years ago when the AIDS epidemic was beginning.
If that was done, and those with AIDS quarantined, hundreds of thousands of people would be alive today.
But, hey, what do I know about politically correct diseases?

I don’t know about Spitzer but any hookers who engaged in sex with Spitzer should surely be tested. ;-) But seriously, whether or not Spitzer gets tested is hardly any of the Gov’t’s business.
And probably hasn't for about a decade.

Forced myself to watch Katie Couric last night - they used this survey to push the HPV vaccine issue. Very gross that this is being spoonfed. I don’t believe 1 in 4 teens has an STD. They must do they study in the nastiest area in the city.
