The NASCAR Sprint Cup Series returns to the high banks of Bristol Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 16, for the Food City 500. One Dale is in a new ride and another Dale is competing in his final season. The last two Sprint Cup races saw two first-time Bristol Cup Series winners, in Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards. Who'll take home that big ol' Bristol Food City 500 trophy this year?
The Food City 500 is part of a spectacular Bristol race weekend, which includes the Sharpie MINI 300 Nationwide Series race (March 15) as well as Pole Day (March 14).

Thanks for the ping, they were running happy hour a little while ago.
Hazel Parsons, Benny’s Mother passed away today, tomorrow would have been her 85th birthday. I’m sure Benny greeted her with that big smile of his.

A blessed Easter to you and yours too ST. I’m proud to have you as a friend.
We fool around alot on these threads, but I have come to know some really decent people round here. I had the pleasure of meeting tubebender and his lovely bride this last summer. Hopefully, I’ll live long enough to meet some of the rest of y’all.

I didn’t see ya at Church today...
Speaking of the Church, we got the sign off on the final inspection today. We can expect massive failures 30 days from today...

Amen to that!
Good luck with the golden egg and before you say to you don't hunt eggs, just remember, "Seek and You Shall Find".

I had to work this morning and spent the afternoon messing with my generator. It won't run again, guess I need to crank it up more than once every four or five years.
GREAT NEWS! Just in time for Easter. :)
Good timing!

Drain the water out of the carburetor and put in FResh fuel...

I did and cleaned the flywheel and mag. Wore myself out trying to pull start the 11 hp engine so I took off the cover and “adapted” a 1/2” drill to spin it.

I didnt see ya at Church today...No, but if you'd been looking, you'd have noticed that I did get my 10,000 mile maintenance on the Toyota. I may be a sinner, but that counts for something. I also bought the boy a skateboard so he can get to school without a ride from me (so I can go to work earlier, and be home earlier) and rented the girl a snowboard (so she can visit the ER again to meet old friends) and I even put some new Hella covers on my Piaa's (clear polycarbonate, so I don't burn holes in the stock opaque covers). Now, I'm trying to decide whether to cook dinner or eat chocolate. It's a tough decision.
