"Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been soliciting high-priced hookers for at least six years and possibly for more than a decade, sources tell The Post....
Sources tell The Post that Spitzer had frequented high-priced hookers as far back as 2002 and possibly earlier."

“Theres just no way to put lipstick on this pig, is there?”
Not unless someone wants to make a halal meal out of him.
I don't quite understand how the women network is a homogenous group that ALWAYS knows certain things, yet Spitzer's wife seems to somehow have strayed from the collective herd of female conformity.
To answer you more bluntly, it is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD to say that ALL women ALWAYS know anything. There are some damn ignorant, stupid, blind, strange, addled, warped, and dense people in this world of both sexes. They don't "all" know squat about anything.
I agree with you on this matter, Williams.
Nope, no anger here. Caps just emphasize my sarcastic tone, which doesn’t come across easily in “typing”.
“I don’t quite understand how the women network is a homogenous group that ALWAYS knows certain things, yet Spitzer’s wife seems to somehow have strayed from the collective herd of female conformity.”.....she didn’t stray, we just know what she is.
“To answer you more bluntly, it is ABSOLUTELY ABSURD to say that ALL women ALWAYS know anything. There are some damn ignorant, stupid, blind, strange, addled, warped, and dense people in this world of both sexes”
You are absolutely correct on that one. When I use my “always” I mean the normal ones. I have been previously corrected on my “always and everyone” usage, for that, I apologize.
So, let me correct myself.......
If Mrs. Spitzer WAS a normal woman, she would NOT have stood by her man as he exposed his whoring.
“What she did is absolutely “normal” as it is commonly done by political wives.”....
most “normal” gals do not see this as normal. We understand why she might do such a thing, it’s just not normal.
It is.
Oh thanks, and I am guessing you are a woman, however I was mean to take her on so emphatically. It was the capital letters.
Don't they cut things off for that type of offensive behavior?
she advised her husband NOT to resign, to hang in there......seems she knows exactly who he is and what he is and chooses to support him.
I'll just point out that his statement was all about his family and apologizing to her, so it's not clear to me that by standing there she was approving of anything. It's just possible she insisted that he apologize to her face in public.
I understand where you’re coming from, however, public humiliation is a different story.
You may be correct that she is in on it and has something to gain. THAT is what I, as a normal gal, does not like. I find it disgusting.
I could never compute that in my head, which is probably why I’m having a hard time giving this lady any sympathy.
You could be on to something here.
Well, another, more knowledgeable FReeper told me that Spitzer endorsed her last year, publicly.
But some superdels are said to be re-thinking their endorsements....
So, maybe she “Spitzered” him. I’m still not convinced that I’m not correct, here....
What I wanna know as an informed consumer, does the $4,100 buy a GFE, or is that an optional extra?
These powerful people think they live in another world of no consequences.
Obviously, you've never gone through anything so devastating as your husband committing adultery. He's her husband and she loves him. Can she just turn that love off because he made a mistake? It doesn't work like that. If she could, then she never loved him in the first place. She took that sorry pos for better or worse, and if she wants to stand by her man for the sake of their children or just because she loves her husband, then God bless her. If she divorces him after the full impact of what he has done sets in, then God bless her! She may be encouraging him to fight it based on the information he has given her. Let the dust settle and when the whole story comes out then we'll know what her decision is. Until you walk in her shoes, you shouldn't be so hard on her!
“This is how he collected his bribes. He was paid in high priced gooch so he didnt have to deal with hiding the cash!”
William Jefferson could have used some of Spitzer’s knowledge.
Yup. I’m in total agreement. The senatrix and her husband would and could easily do something like this.
Wow! I must not be as crazy as the doctor said I was! :D
Just keep drinking your tap water and you’ll be feeling well in no time! ;)
