I'm not AT ALL certain anyone can speak in the nominal 100 HZ frequency. That is a very, very deep base tone.

If they meant 1000 HZ, this might be more believable.

At most this would tend to say the ancient megalithic sturctures were either built by our human ancestors or for them.

Activity in the left temporal region was found to be significantly lower at 110 Hz than at other frequencies. Additionally, the pattern of asymmetric activity over the prefrontal cortex shifted from one of higher activity on the left at most frequencies to rightsided dominance at 110 Hz. These findings are compatible with relative deactivation of language centers and a shift in prefrontal activity that may be related to emotional processing.

If such frequency related shifts in information processing occur, and the frequencies and harmonics identified, what is to stop people from taking advantage of those frequencies for the purpose of manipulation of a mob (population), whether it be in an ancient forum (Caeser), a megalithic structure (Hitler), or digitally on your television???

Maybe the tinfoil-hat bits about the masons aren't so far off after all, when the architecture controls the acoustics, which might control the ability of the crowd to process data, but now that could be done by any good sound engineer with the appropriate electronics...

Speculation, fun, but a frightening premise as well...

When I toured Ireland, I saw several 11th century churches with “whispering arches.” Apparently these were used as confessionals during time of contagious diseases. The arches were 7-8 feet across, but if one person stood on one side facing the stone and whispered, the other on the opposite side could hear the words clearly.

” the resonances of the chamber cavities might have been intended to support human ritual chanting.”
Might, hmmm! Then again, might not!
Money spent on foolish research could be well-spent in other places.

Similar acoustic resonance specs indicate similar room sizes. So, meeting rooms tended to the same size...and this relates to chanting? Did these folks get their degrees from Harvard lib arts faculties? Duhhhhhhhh!

There's a segment about research into ancient sonic stuff on this disk (which I recommend anyway, not a run-of-the-mill, gee-whiz kind of disk):

Mysteries of the Ancient World Mysteries of the Ancient World
