LOL.... Too late, I already bought a non-gay Tundra.

During the 24 months the boycott was in effect, Ford sales dropped an average of 8% per month. That works out to about an 86% drop in sales. Are those numbers correct?

Too little , too late. I traded in an Explorer for a CR-V and couldn’t be happier. Thanks, Ford, for showing me the errors of my ways.—a lot less time in the shop now.

I didn’t think I’d see this happen, but I am glad. I still would not buy a Ford, but there are a lot of other companies owned by Ford, whose products I do like.
Praise the Lord!

Why can’t Ford build a Mustang Cobra that sells for less than $45k MSRP that the stealerships turn around and charge another $20k for dealer markup?

I didn't even know there was a boycott going on. We bought a Fusion not long ago.

Is Ford going out of business in the next few years? I also wouldn’t trust them to carry out the terms with the Family Association.

I’d love a new Fusion, but whether I did or didn’t buy one would have had nothing to do with this.. would have been finding one at the price I was willing to pay in a condition I was willing to accept.
I’m glad to see Ford stop doing the stupid stuff with the pillow biters.. but end of the day I’m buying the best car I can afford that meets my needs.
To: MississippiMan
Excellent news! Ford was so stupid to continue picking at this self-inflicted wound--alienating a large number of potential car buyers just to lavish ad dollars and give aways to homo-promo groups. I'm glad they finally came around.
I plan to buy a car this year and I'd like to give Ford a shot, having owned Fords in the past and had good experiences.
I'll be keeping a careful watch on them though for the next several months just to make sure they're not playing games. If they still look good when September/October rolls around, they'll be in the running.

Ok - so the AFAbots swore that they chose Ford, even though Toyota contributed more, because they had to start somewhere, and after Ford, they would move on to the next auto company until they had hit all and “converted” them.
I’ll be waiting to see if they live up to their ideals, or if this proves to have been just a cheap political stunt.
I’m betting it was their usual cheap political stunt.
To: MississippiMan
Well Ford did the switch on this once before, but I wouldn’t mind a new F250. We’ll see.

My boycott remains in effect. Ford leadership has demonstrated its willingness to stoop too low in promoting deviant behavior.

Just think, if the AFA had held out a little longer and Ford had declared bankruptcy, they could have claimed total victory.

I love it when corporate nimrods violate their fiduciary responsibility in order to pursue some political agenda, get caught out on it (one way or another), and help destroy whatever is left of the market for the products made by those whose jobs will be forfeit as a result of the agenda.
