Some prominent Democrats are converging on the prospect of mail-in elections to resolve a dispute over the fate of delegates from Florida and Michigan, who were disqualified by the party last year.
Democratic National Committee Chairman Howard Dean, speaking on Sunday talk shows, called mail-in voting -- in which every registered Democrat, including those overseas, receives a ballot by mail -- "a very good process." But Mr. Dean said it is up to the states' Democrats to formulate a plan that both campaigns would support.
Even if a consensus emerges, the answer to a key question -- who would pay for mail revotes -- remains up in the air. The states have said taxpayers won't foot the bill. And Mr. Dean insisted the national party would be saving its money to defeat the presumptive Republican nominee, Sen. John McCain.
"The first thing we're going to do is follow the rules," he said on CBS's "Face the Nation." For the party to feel united and defeat Sen. McCain, "the loser of the race has to feel that they've been treated fairly within the rules."

Both candidates will definately engage in this fraud, and perhaps a few -throw a wrench in the process rouge pubbies-....
I think if this thing goes off in FL and MI, there will be more infighting after the process than before...
So will Kucinich be back on the ballot?
Watch out for those rouge pubbies.
The fun thing is watching the DEMs squirm while they insist they only want what is best for the country.
DEMs want what is best for DEMS.
Clintons are the masters of the game. If will be fun to watch which side can commit the most vote fraud. The printing companies in FL will be busy printing extra ballots.
To save money, most will be pre-marked.
The dead will turn out in huge numbers................
I’d like to see the whole primary season redone....if its good enough for Florida and Michagan than its good enough for Iowa and New Hampshire, etc.....
If a mail-in selection, either one to lose will scream voter fraud!
Might as well let the foxes into the chicken coop.
As a side note, will Florida allow Floridians to change our party affiliation so we can cross-over and vote in the “second” Democratic primary?
Just don't spend any of my tax dollars on this fiasco. Have Hillary and Obama pull a few bills out of their wallets to foot a new primary.
I don’t know if any other Floridians have experienced this, but the USPS in Florida is one of the worse run in the USA.

Great idea Deano! You do understand that Michigan has no party registrations and therefor no registered Democrats?
Obama doesn’t stand a chance of out frauding the frauders.
I love this. Hillary's looking for all kinds of ways that she can muddy the water, so the super-delegates can rationalize voting for her.
If she wins the overall popular vote, that would help.
Hillary has actaully been beating Obama among Democrats. In many states Obama's margin of victory has come from independents (and Republicans who simply can't stand Hillary).
I can't stand McCain, but I would still love to see the Democrats self-destruct, and hand over a landslide.
Can Republicans vote as well?
“The printing companies in FL will be busy printing extra ballots.”
“To save money, most will be pre-marked.”
Yeah they will.
I don’t care if they re-vote, as long as they don’t let any of the Democrats who changed their registration to vote for McCain, change their registration back to Democrat.
