So.... are the Republicans going to get a mulligan on this one too?

Seeing as how it was Dem crossover voters who gave McStain the Florida win, and all.

Seems more than a little unfair that they (the Dems) get to pick BOTH nominees.

I love it......this is all too much fun, watching the dim party in such disarray.

Me too. Yet, there are many here (as well as all over the media) who either continue to deride us (as well as questioning Rush's mental acuity) who crossed over and voted for Her Thighness, in hopes of creating just such chaos, confusion and mayhem.

However anyone wants to spin this, all is not well within the Dhummy Party and the chance that either side will kiss and make nice anytime soon or fall on their sword and join ranks with the "other" ("For the good of the party") is delusional.

Don't know how long this will last, but the longer they are at each others' throat, the better for us--especially, if they end up in some sort of race war (figuratively speaking, of course) .

More popcorn and Heineken, please!!!

Hey, I said it first....

..Last week I predicted that The Florida Supreme Court would be back in the elections business before this is all over.

Am I correct in assuming there is no grounds for a constitutional case here?

I doubt there would be. The states set a primary date and it occurred. They didn't follow DNC rules but I don't see where state laws or the Constitution were violated. The fact that those campaigning didn't register to be on the ballot, or campaign, was a choice they made.

Hopefully no riots...

IIRC, Sharpton himself alluded to the possibility.

Exactly, leaders, Mrs William Clinton, wife of the impeached ex president.has not proven herself to be one... should follow the rules, or laws that are in play at the time of the action... also if they do re vote what are they going to do with Edwards, who played a pivotal part in the election had not dropped out of the race yet.. will they let these other delegates on the ballots as well as Obama and Mrs. William Clinton..I would think they should have their delegates at the convention as well..

I gotta agree with you.

All this Dem stuff is the dream of political junkees. Not that I’m especially proud of this.

And for sure the Republican nominee is a bundle of joy that excites our every second.

Heh.

Ok this isn’t a problem for the Clintons. Obama already said he wouldn’t run for VP, so Hillary just announces that since BO will remain in the Senate while she is the Pres., she will have another “esteemed black leader” of “high moral character” Al Sharpton run as her VP !! He’d drop that suit Bill Clinton drops his pants !!!!

I didn't think so, but in a world where some people believe passing wind will cause global warming, you are almost compelled to ask.

I've often wondered why any taxpayer money at all is used to help the parties stand candidates for any office.

Hey....

John McCain has elicited joy and endless glee in every aspect of the Republican party!

Republicans across the fruited plains sing and dance from the very roof tops such is their joy so uncontained.

We carry signs with his image, we shout the happiness of such a fine, even-tempered fellow, nominated with full support of every single member of his party not to mention a few moderates and disenchanted Dems to boot!

And yet, even with all the fun of John McCain, even with our inability to sit still in anticipation of sending in our dollars for his support and pounding the pavements to share our joy with others, STILL we have time to sit and watch the Dem’s potential nominees.

Such is our collective joy over John McCain.

Tha the Dems want the two states to count, recount, revote or whatever shows that the “superdelegates” are afraid to to be the deciding factor. I’m sure Howard Dean is getting phone calls constantly.Superdelegates are code word for VIP in Democratic cirles.Better hotels, dinner reservations, etc. were the reason for the SD setup. Now that they might have to actually perform a duty and pick a nominee will frighten them to death.God forbid they have to choose a side and deal will some backlash if they choose poorly.

If the seating of Florida and /or Michigan gets tied up in court, can the Nobember election still be held? That would be interesting..

That's what we're seeing. And it's wonderful seeing their greed (for that's what it is) impacting their own.
