Out of curiosity I tuned in, briefly, to the HBO miniseries called Angels in America. Within 10 minutes there was a scene where an Angel was coming down from the heavens to ‘mate’ with a gay guy. That was it for me. Half the people in this country don’t care how destructive the Gay Agenda is. Our half knows but doesn’t have the appropriate power (such as in the public school system) to do anything about it. Sad state of affairs.
This kind of garbage has been going on for years and years, and it’s never on the GOP radar, which is why I’m leaving it.
I can’t believe the “tolerance” crowd hasn’t shown up here yet.
They always jump at the chance to lecture us about “thenthorthip” and how parents should never have any say whatsoever in their children’s schools’ choices of required reading.
They enjoy labeling such parents as fanatics and unstable.
Surely, they will be here soon to slavishly support the schools who are ramming this down children’s throats.
Homosexuals are sexual degenerates and they want their degeneracy to be mainstream, so they go to work in school systems inveigling their degeneracy in the name of ‘sophistication’. I would guarantee the promoters of this book and their support are homosexuals and/or sexual degenerates who want to immerse youth in sexual things to recruit for their use.
Government schools are eating the souls of our youth and conservatives are in a coma!
NO! The solution is NOT to attempt the reform of godless, atheistic, Marxist government schools! NO! NO! NO! The very premise upon which they are build is corrupt, and they are NOT redeemable!
The solution is to get children out of these government madrassas of filth and to permanently shut them down! We are running out of time! There is not much time left! If the Marxists ( I call them the Death Eaters) succeed in indoctrinating the next generation of voters all freedom will be lost in the voting booth!
Solution:
Conservatives need to start private scholarship foundations that would award vouchers to students and award grants to individual teachers. Since government is giving its schooling away for free, the private vouchers must meet the full cost of private tuition, otherwise parents will not give up their addiction to free government babysitting.
Once we get children out of the government schools, conservatives must organize a peaceful but MASSIVE school tax revolt that would permanently shut down every government school in the nation!
If our colleges and universities can have endowments in the BILLIONS then conservatives could do this for K-12 education, IF THEY WOULD ONLY WAKE UP FROM THEIR ANESTHESIA!!
By the way, some years ago my husband and I checked out the video of “Angels in America”. We were lured into picking it up since Meryl Streep is a star in the film.
This film mocks faith, and everything that is good about wholesome family living. The only reason this book was assigned by this Marxist government school teacher was to destroy the Christian religious faith of the youth in the class, prepare them for the Marxist take over that is sure to come, and introduce them in the culture of the Marxist Death Eaters.
So...Why, why, why, are conservatives ( ESPECIALLY CHRISTIAN CONSERVATIVES!!!) so brain dead!! ( Yes! I am shouting! I am utterly exasperated!)

Good Lord. I didn’t care for Angels in America but it sure sounds like the author didn’t actually bother to read the play.
Its about Ray Cohn,chief counsel to the Government Committee on Operations of the Senate - he is one McCarthy’s key henchmen, condemned by the Senate for unethical behavior in coordination with McCarthy.
In other sources Cohn is “a Jew who persecuted Jews; a gay who persecuted gays.”
Cohn’s protege is Mormon and there is a fair amount of commentary there.
In the HBO mini-series version Cohn is played by Al Pacino.
Cohn eventually dies of aids and the play has a lot to do with how AIDs was not taken seriously soon enough.
It broke the record held by Roots for most Emmy’s. The play itself has won dozens of awards
Roots had a lot of controversial subject matter too but we didn’t hide it from kids.
That said, I didn’t like the play or the mini-series but it is clearly a real work of literature that should not be censored. The teacher, Jeff Berger White and the rest of the faculty claim they followed all normal protocal and even recieved the parents permission.

The ALA (American Library Ass.) demands the exemption to give any materials to anyone in the lie-brary that requests them regardless of age. So while an NC-17 movie or issue of Playboy may not be sold to a minor by a retailer, the lefty librarians want to be able to provide such materials to your kids. There is no arguing with them over whether this policy is "wrong", they insist that you prohibit your kids from going to the library if it means so much to you. Why is there a legal exemption for librarians?
This would be the time for the Christian teachers to take a stand.
Yes, it isn't the sort of thing one would assign high school students -- not when there's so much else out there to read.
