The House is not an issue even if the Rats gain 30 seats as long as the Senate doesn’t change by more than a couple in favor of the Rats almost everything can be blocked.

So what do those that think they can sustain a win by voting for the bottom of the ticket think now?

Reminds me of the old poem:

I met a Speaker on the stair
A Speaker who was never there
He wasn't there again today
And now his Seat has gone away.

Poster makes my skin crawl. Liberal with a capital “L.”

There is no Republican Party in Illinois.

Through it all, the voters bitch and moan and pull straight Democratic Party. Rinse and repeat.

Which goes to show that people are not for parties any more, people are for free stuff. These so called republicans see lots of free stuff from the Marxist’s.

Far as I know, this was predicted, and the long tern future is not looking good either. It will be 2014 before we can begin to turn this around, because most Conservatives are still holding on to their hubris, and the rest of the Republican voter base has forgotten what democrats actually believe and do to the U.S. economic system when in charge of the purse and lawmaking for more than a couple years.

Maybe this is too oversimplified but here's one opinion:

This election took place in Illinois, which is Obama land. Most likely no on with an ‘R’ next to their name is going to win squat.

What the RNC should do is concentrate it's efforts on states and areas that aren't as blue as the Tidy Bowl Man. It's a waste to do so.

Could it be too that IL is punishing the GOP because Hastert failed to live up to his commitment to serve a full two-year term? The same could happen this spring in the Baton Rouge district vacated by Richard H. Baker.

IL though is so liberal, who knows?

Well I certainly didn’t see that coming. Doesn’t bode well for the fall.

This is the reward we get for electing RINO’s in the first place.

People need to wake the F up. We’re already way too far left to allow RINO’s in office. Each one elect moves us further and further to the left. It might be different if we were on the right of the spectrum, but we’re not.
