The tides of history are rising higher and faster these days. Read them right and ride them, or be crushed. And then along comes Barack Obama, with the kinds of gifts that appear in politics but once every few generations. There is a sense of dignity, even majesty, about him, and underneath that ease lies a resolute discipline. It's not just that he is eloquent with that ability to speak both to you and to speak for you it's that he has a quality of thinking and intellectual and emotional honesty that is extraordinary.

Just to show how far the left has gone over the edge, check out the cover to this month's issue that endorses Barack Obama, in all his heavenly lightning-clad glory.
And ye shall have no other gods before him...

Soon he will be walking on water and feeding fishes to the masses. All that’s missing in the picture is a halo.

Rolling Stone has always been the rag of the looney left. Their first endorsement was McGovern, why would you be surprised that they endorsed the most liberal member of the Senate?

Evocative of the soviet and nazi propaganda art, as well as that of the progressives early last century in this country.
In a country whose people based the selection of leaders on reason and the candidate’s abilities instead of on feelings and pipe dreams, that would be enough to doom his candidacy.
Unfortunately, we live in a country populated by a combination of morons and aged children.

Jaw dropping, in a sickening sort of way.

Little did Rolling Stone know when they went to press with this that Obama would soon lose BOTH Ohio and Texas.
Ha!

This almost looks like something the Onion would do as a parody. If there weren’t so much at stake, this would be hilarious.

As I read all this, so elegantly written, my mind kept rolling over: Might it be possible? Is there some fate by which we could have this man as president of the United States? Truly the second coming. This is the most ridiculous endorsement I have ever read. I really thought they might have a photo of Obama walking on water.
To: Izzy Dunne
Tickets are expensive for that tour.
