Rove explained that he and McCain got to know each other during the 2004 campaign. In a separate interview, Mehlman noted that McCain was completely loyal to the president in 2004 and worked incredibly hard to help him get elected. According to Taylor, The Bush Republicans here in town are excited for John McCain.

me too....I voted for Thompson but I like Roves ideas about McCAINS story. When 20% of the population don’t know where the pacific ocean is then it always helps to educate. Where are you located>
its by state duh!
No kidding, Sherlock! I am voting for Obama in the primary where my vote WILL count in North Carolina. My mission is to stop Hillary. Period. Now go back to your sandbox and be a good boy.
I've considered doing the same thing, but I think that is exactly what they want. Without voices of dissent, the Rockefeller Pubbies, the "National Greatness conservative" whackjobs and the Log Cabiners can maintain control indefinitely.
Did you see who he has brought in to run Victory 08? (Carly Fiorina and others). This sounds like its gonna be another liberal lovefest at the RNC convention, just like 2004 when they headlined Schwarzenegger, Giuliani, and McCain. This cr@p has to be stopped if there is any hope, as it is already paving the way for the Party in 2012 and beyond.
The earth IS flat!!!! /McCainBot
Have at it! I usually call them GOP thugs.
But seriously, I used to have Fox on all the time, now I've changed the channel. It doesn't really matter though, because nobody can see any of the shows on Fox due to that blasted scroll at the bottom. It has inched it's way up to taking over half the screen!
OTOH, that might be a good thing...we only have to see the top of Shep's head now! LOLOL
the 30% of the people on this board who aren't going to vote for McCain are important only if they are in Ohio, Missouri, Virginia, Oregon, Pennsylvania, New Mexico and possibly Wisconsin and Iowa. If they are in Blue states it doesn't matter ...if in real red states it doesn't matter. Your vote doesn't matter. You can't cancel mine because I live in Florida. Educating you people is really a headache
LOL! I never have been able to stand that guy!
The way to stop it is to run a conservative with a third party. Stop the liberal RINOs dead in their tracks and rebuild the party. Right now, there isn’t enough difference in McCain, Obama or Clinton to convince me to vote for McCain.
It just isn’t going to happen. I cannot bring myself down to that gutter level of politics.
key board warrio’s are very brave...
“key board warrios are very brave...”
No, you are really not.
Seriously, I think you have the wrong poster...return to sender.
lets see If I have this right...you are going to vote for Obama to stop Hillary but if Hillary wins you are not going to vote for McCain....NOW THAT IS PURE GENIUS AT WORK.

Its alright, I understand and even done it myself. I agree with your assessement on the colossal stupidity around here...
Yeah, I am going to vote for a Democrat just to piss you off.
Now I will have a friend in Florida vote for a Democrat just to cancel your vote.
TD,everything you’ve said—I agree with.
