This may have gone better if he would have simply answered the question. It wasn't one of those 'gotcha' things really, but to answer that 'everybody knows about it and I'm not gonna discuss it any further' makes it look like something of which he's ashamed.
This is not a cheap shot at McCain.

Agreed, she was clearly trying to anger him. He did well answering her.
The temper story, if I am not wrong, came from McCain's requesting a decision on a govt position for an individual which normally would have taken 300 days and they were into 600 days. He just said a few words that we have not all said ourselves added to either vote yes or no...how difficult is that? Now, that temper story is all they have going for them.
I have heard one person I know say.."but what about McCain's temper?" This is just a another petty personal attack on the man's character because they can't find anything else that will compete with Rezko and Obama-Peter Paul/Clinton cases for '08. I am not a whole hearted McCainite, but these media contrived swamp tales become obnoxious in their constant RE-PEATS, RE-PEATS, RE-PEATS(said the lonely frog).
