Obama says he's tired of answering questions about his religion. At a rally in rural Ohio, he was asked again about rumors that he's a Muslim, which have only obscured from public view his real faith, which is no less troubling.
"Here are the simple facts," he half-pleaded with the crowd. "I am a Christian. I am a devout Christian. I have been a member of the same church for 20 years. I pray to Jesus every night. I try to go to church as much as I can."
While impressive, it's where he goes to church that should give American voters pause.
Obama embraced more than Christ when he answered the altar call two decades ago at the Trinity United Church of Christ in Southside Chicago. The 8,000-member church describes itself as "unashamedly black" and holds classes in "African-centered Bible study."
He also pledged to honor something called the "Black Value System," a cultlike code of nonbiblical ethics written by blacks for blacks. It preaches a radically exclusive theology that contradicts the tenets of Christianity.

Yes, I’d like to know how they come up with an “African Centered” Bible study. More hogwash, man-before-God rebellion. Anyone with half a brain can see through this charade. He may be serious, but he’s derailed and deluded and that makes him dangerous.

There appears to be a troubling trend of deifying Barak Obama within the media & most particularly at his political -quasi “spiritual” rallies as though he were the leader of a cult.

His campaign resembles a cult.
There is a name for it - it is called “Black Liberation Theology”. Basically, the idea of salvation to those who believe in such liberation theologies is that eternal life is of no consequence. They believe that liberation from oppression is what salvation is all about. Thus they pick and choose the oppression themes from the Bible and focus on them, making direct application to BLACK positions and history. They equate themselves with Israel under Roman rule, or in more extreme cases, as like Israel under Babylonian rule.
What I find so funny about that - Israel DESERVED both forms of oppression - the first because of their falling away from God and denial of His Son. And the Babylonian captivity because of their direct abominations to God (Idol worship in the temple, completely unGodly living and rulers, absolute corruption despite God’s continued warnings and opportunities to turn from their way).
In fact, some of those churches and preachers (I cannot speak for Obama-Messiah’s pastor) actually believe that Jesus came to deliver Black People only! Of course, they also say that Jesus, while born in Israel, was actually of Egyptian descent...thus Black Himself....
I dunno - heard a clip on the radio yesterday that Hillary actually stated at a stop that she had “felt the Holy Spirit” before...
I can’t help but wonder if that was the CONVICTION of the Holy Spirit...

His church is also pro-abortion and pro-homosexual relationships.

It is also very interesting that his church is quietly slipping into their sheep’s clothing. I suppose if you’ve got something to hide you best be about it. I would expect we will see more of this. I’m sure that there are private understandings that it’s just for politically posturing, like the NAFTA statements.
Questions for all.
1. If you belonged to a church and they gave a lifetime achievement award to David Duke would remain a member or leave the church?
2. If a white guy was running for president and his church gave a lifetime achievement award to David Duke how bad do you think the media would hound him?
