It is past time for leaders in the Senate and House to demand an investigation into the nationwide epidemic of attacks on recruiting stations. U.S. Attorneys should prosecute the agitators. The Constitution provides that the federal government be able to raise an Army during wartime. The escalation in attacks is not only costing taxpayers money, but they could cripple the countrys ability to defend herself. If this isnt treason, what is?
This was written on Feb 25, but is quite relevant today.
Move backwards. Embrace weakness.
Um, they think it’s a good idea to attack our armed forces? History is filled with the dead bodies of those who shared the same delusion.
this behavior didn’t work so well in 68. this is really shaping up to be like that year again. look out Denver
These are just intellectuals expressing themselves.
“treason?” Where? People who cause dozens to die,who sell our most coveted secrets to the enemy, sit in prisons on our tax dollar. Aims, Aldridge............ We don't have the “balls” anymore to do the right thing. What should happen with these people once caught is self evident, but rest assured, not much will happen.
Stupid, childish, cowardly idiots. If they are so brave and “righteous” let them try their dispicabl eacts during the day right in the face of everyone, instead of under the cover of darkness. Sissies, punks, every single one of them.
What goes around comes around.
My daughter lives in Austin Texas and she has always warned me that “pacifists” are NOT nice or peace loving, they are mean, angry, and they love to throw rocks and bottles at you. These are some angry mean PACIFISTS attacking the recruiters.
FYI

These are the acts of DOMESTIC TERRORISTS.
If the anarchists want full effect of their protests, they should attack the Marines , 101 Airborne, Navy Seals or Seabees in person. Why waste time on property? Go on guys, give it your best shot.
These are the acts of TERRORISTS (doesn't matter where they come from)
I hope President Bush speaks out about this very soon.
D@mn right, try them for treason!
When people reject all traditional norms and are still unhappy, they can respond in one of two ways:
1. Admit there is something to be said for traditional norms.
2. Blame their unhappiness on those who uphold traditional norms.
Option #1 is more logical, but requires someone to admit they’ve been wrong about their entire approach to life. Option #2 is easier and provides a temporary relief from the unhappiness. Thus, these rebels tend to have a deep anger at the military, religion, traditional families, and so forth.
The problem is that option #2 is ultimately not fulfilling. These rebels see that people get positive benefits from the institutions they hate, and their anger increases. Included in the anger is a self-loathing. Deep down, these rebels feel ashamed that they don’t have what it takes to succeed in the military.
So if you have served in the military and really want to tick off these presenters, just go up to these protesters at a recruiting center and say “Excuse me, I served in the military and it was a great experience. I made so many friends in my unit and I learned how to be mentally tough, take on any challenge, and to be someone others can rely on!”
They will of course just scream at you and not give you a logical answer, but trust me, you will have hit them where they hurt.
I like to point out that while it is suggested that the Vietnam war protests stopped after Nixon ended the draft, there was an earlier event that stopped such riots cold.
Kent State in May, 1970. In its immediate aftermath, there was a “National Student’s Strike” that was widespread, but a lot more reserved. After that, there was only one more major disturbance, in Los Angeles in August, 1970. It was greeted with a strong police response.
After that, however, the anti-war movement became wholly political, with two congressional committees, and the infamous medal-throwing protest in D.C., featuring a notorious failed US presidential contender.
But importantly, the violence just had the wind knocked out of it. Seems the anti-war movement was fine with attacking and harming other people, but had little stomach for being counter-attacked.
By the time the draft and war ended, most of those in the anti-war movement were damn glad of an excuse to quit.
You are too logical. I would rather see someone kick the Shiite out of these fools.
