What do you think? Suggestions, comments, complaints?
I also miss the number of views on an article, taken off a while back-- gives a better idea of reads. Is that an expense to keep up?
Were you bored Jim?
But it is your house, so thanks for asking.
In Summary: Can we move the furniture back where it was or at least some of it anyway?
It was perfect the way it was. I liked the Old Neighborhood.
Felt like Home!
And..Aren't you glad you asked???
co-sign ...thats a GOOD feature
“What do you think? Suggestions, comments, complaints?”
That’s like being at the restaurant and upon placing the last dish on the table the waitress asks “How is everything?”
“Can I try it first?” is my usual answer.
The main thing for me is that everything is still here, and I get the enjoyment of participating at FR. Thanks Jim and John for everything.
“Rosebud!”
Is there going to be some sort of tutorial on how to search now?
I like the over all look.
I would like a easier way to get in and out of the local forums.
A link to the sandbox would be nice. I didn’t know it was there till I saw it on a thread.
I didn’t know about all the setup option till I poked around a while. I still not sure how the pager works.
I really like the new Articles, Comments, and Activity buttons. Great idea, that makes a lot of sense. But, I don’t like the search bar being moved to the upper right corner.
Nice clean look. I like it!
sounds fine about the post buttons. Great when you get more up. Workable now.
I don’t like the sidebar up so I never have it up—I prefer all the real estate for the articles etc.
THANKS TONS FOR ALLOWING THAT TO STILL BE AN OPTION.
Agreed, am I imagining this, or are the summary columns on the right absolutely microscopic? It's driving me nuts! Any way to adjust font size?
But it would make them look very foolish if the original poster cleaned up his/her mistakes while their posts remained.
I think it looks good, but Free Republic should be in larger letters.
Links on the sidebar don’t open new tabs in Firefox anymore. They still do in the main white section, though.
Oh, just noticed - the sidebar link colors have changed within the last ten minutes. You can’t tell what’s been visited already.
Coding is hard, I imagine. Hang in there.
All I get is crazy nerd code when I right click and open in new window.
I'm skeered to put it on the sidebar, cause the "put on sidebar" thingie is superimposed over other words way over on the right.
EDIT WOULD BE WONDERFUL.
Over at
HTTP:/WWW.ABOVETOPSECRET.COM
the largest alternative news site . . .
The edit button is available . . . I forget—4-24 hours or some such. Then it’s no longer an option.
Usually we see our errors within an hour or 4. But 24 hours would be nice.
Just keep it dial-up friendly, flash-free, and MacOS9/Netscape 7.2 compatible for the Luddites—like me.
Most of Jim Robinson, thank you for this great gift you have given us to interact with others on this wonderful forum. Being here is the ultimate experience in FREEDOM and LIBERTY.
God Bless You and Yours.
it will likely be timed. After 5 min, it will then be disabled or something like that.
lol!
