Assuming everything you say is correct, what makes you think he would have the slightest chance of winning? He's running against a RAT dirtbag. Bush lost to a RAT dirtbag, an unknown one, at that, in '92. And he was an incumbent. Dole did the same in '96. And he,besides being a hero, was a much more likable fellow than McCain.

And to top it all off, McCain is the only candidate I can remember who publicly repudiates his own supporters. I'm just not seeing a winner, here.

While it's true Hillary and Obama support amnesty. McCain actually did something to try and bring it about. And he was proud enough to put his name on it. Even ahead of Kennedy.

Relevant to our will to win and the focus of our faith, consider an 85-year-old warrior:

Listen online to a great sermon 10-10:30pm Pacific time, about Caleb, one of the great warriors of ancient Israel.

(I HOPE it’s a repeat of the 6am one I only heard a little of this morning.)

Light of the Word is the program.

Are you seriously saying the reason you won’t vote for him is because you don’t think he can win? Methinks you’re confusing voting with gambling.

Still in the “Leave the line blank” column.

Our only hope is that McLoser implodes prior to the convention and a real Republican is nominated.

"he actually does appeal to a very large number of Americans"

where are they? They certainly didn't show up to vote in Republican primaries. even though, in many, RATS and "independents" could. The numbers in the GOP primary turnout were pathetic. If he can't even energize his own party, he's going nowhere.

No. That’s not the reason I won’t vote for him. But it is a reason why it is wrong to nominate him. That, plus the fact he has spent nearly a decade betraying the party he now presumes to lead. He is a man without integrity or honor.

His positions on amnesty, the 1st amendment and taxes speak louder than any sort of rah rah vid. No thanks, I’ll pass.

I visited your ramm site, but don't really see what you and your 'bunch of us' are doing other than slamming McCain, and therefore by default campaigning for the Democrats.

About RAMM

RAMM is a grassroots conservative organization founded on February 9, 2008 in response to John McCain becoming the presumptive nominee of the Republican Party.

Action Statement

We will vote in the November 4, 2008 election for all Republican candidates except for the Office of the President, which will be left blank or filled in with a write-in candidate as determined by each voter.

RAMM Mission

RAMM is committed to preserving the conservative vision for America as the foundation of the Republican Party. We cannot support John McCain as the Republican candidate for the Presidency of the United State of America because of his policy positions and record on amnesty, political free speech, federal funding of embryonic stem cell research, global warming, and a host of other issues important to conservatives.

RAMM's Purpose

Provide a venue for alienated conservative Republican voters to express their objection to the nomination of Senator McCain as the Republican candidate for President.

Really?

More than 1.3 million Republicans voted in the GOP primary election for president which almost double the 2004 turnout and 200,000 more than in 2000, according to a Republican Party of Texas press released issued Wednesday.
~Source: Waco Tribune-Herald

In the last Florida GOP contest in 2000, 700,000 Republicans voted. This year, about 1.9 million did.
~Source: NPR

Alaska Republican turnout is expected to exceed 13,000. This Year's turnout equals the combined turnout in 1996 and 2000
~Source: Alaska Republicans

Voter turnout on Super Tuesday, and in earlier primaries, is on pace to break the record turnout seen during the 1972 presidential primaries....Voter turnout in Democratic primaries set records in 12 states across the country, including Alabama, Connecticut, New Jersey and Utah. Similarly, Republican turnout nearly equaled that number, setting records in 11 states, including Arkansas, Connecticut, Illinois, Massachusetts and New York.(emphasis mine)
~Source: Newswise

Feel free to cite your sources of dismal turnouts.

Please stop it with this "My Friends" crap. It makes me want to projectile vomit every time I hear that strange little man utter the phrase.

I'm waiting to hear how he's going to secure the borders without inserting the amnesty into the same bill. Yeah, yeah I've heard his speech about how he "gets it" but I'll bet you a $100 bill right now that it will all be tied into the same bill and we'll be forced to accept some form of amnesty at the same time we get words on paper that claim the border will be secured.

I respect what the man went through 40 years ago, but.....

Securing the border is one of those things he's sworn to uphold and protect. The man that authored and sponsored McCain-Kennedy is a traitor for intentionally throwing the borders wide open. period

A nice, restful, peaceful sleep in knowing that I refused to vote for an evil.

But when it's all said and done, you'll vote for him anyway.

Some of the slaves will do what they are told, yes, but most won't, this time. 2012 will be the year of Jubilee--provided enough liberty-loving Americans deny John McCain a chance at the presidency.

This guy is a traitor to the Constitution.
