So after all that talk about the importance of new revenues the woman didn't even pay her own taxes? Shocking details are emerging today that indicate Michigan's most prominent tax-hike advocates, Governor Jennifer Granholm and John Cherry, are in trouble with the federal government for, get this... refusing to pay their taxes! The kind of trouble you don't get in for a minor offense. The kind of trouble that only comes after repeated notifications from the federal government.
A couple of sources indicate that Lansing's Channel 10 News will lead tonight's broadcast with the news that the United States Department of Treasury has slapped a $19,500 lien on the executive team's inaugural committee for failure to pay taxes. That means that the same Governor and Lieutenant Governor of the State of Michigan who last year told working moms and dads that they had to fork over an extra $1.5 billion currently refuse to pay nearly twenty-thousand dollars in federal taxes.

I said right from the beginning that accepting Canadian trash was a bad idea.
The politicians in question passed the largest state tax hike in Michigan history and failed to pay their own legal share of taxes. Unbelieveable!

Ras already has it dead even at 44%. All McCain has to do is mention the problem is “double-speaking Democrats who raise your taxes and fail to pay their’s” and that he will “fight to keep taxes low” and “keep jobs in Michigan.” Those phrases along with a pic of Granholm and Hillary will be the end for them. The Dems CANNOT win without Michigan.
And prior to her getting elected as Gov by Detroit she was Michigan’s Attorney General - elected by Detroit.....You know, the folks that live at vacant lots, invalid addresses, below ground and mult voters.

Allow me to dispell the myth: McCain was never counting on winning the Dem vote versus a Dem.
I always said I would never leave Michigan but now I have a girlfriend in Florida so I may end up down there after all.
On the other hand, my girlfriend is a professor and has been getting calls from Michigan colleges so we may end up here anyway.

Detroit is just one city - a big one still. We can win here. Bush only lost by a handful of points in ‘04. McCain can easily grab 3-4 more by shaving off INDs and defecting DEMs.
I can’t believe the control freaks haven’t passed a law that somehoew makes them exempt from their own rules.

It’s not irrational to see that in a dead heat that tying Hillary and the state’s female hypocrite governor can be played to our advantage. We only need one more vote than them to win all 17 EVs.
