Methinks the Dems are going to find that their constant defeatism is going to bite them on their asses come November.
At least I hope so.

You can easily tell this to be true...it’s been months since the wailing Dems have even mentioned Iraq. You can always tell if you are winning an arguement with a Liberal...it’s when they change the subject.

I just wish we had a better candidate. (Sigh...)

Despite the thinking around here, talk radio, etc., the Drive Bys still have an iron grip on manufacturing public opinion and this proves the point. Look at the reporting right now on the economy and what the Sheeple think in the exit polls. Everyone is basing their opinions on the economy on gas prices, the the real stats the indicate a good, bad, or mediocre economy.

The Democrats' problem is defeat and cowardice are not winning issues in an election year.

When did we last have a Harry Reid loser moment?

Actually, he comes off as a stronger candidate if Iraq becomes popular. He is one of the few politicians who can claim never to have wavered on the subject, even when it looked like it might sink has campaign.

Oh, I'll vote for McCain and I do like his stance on the war. I just don't where he stands (and votes) on much else. But it would be a travesty if we got someone in office who let Iraq fall apart after all of the hard work and sacrifices that have been made. In today's climate, we need a stable ally in the region more than ever.
But never in my own voting history have the "lesser of the evils" choices been so evil.

Unfortunately, this election is not one in which conservatives can get inspired over. Voting in self defense?
