Next on school agenda: Teaching communism
Worldnetdaily ^ | March 04, 2008 | Bob Unruh

A new plan by a California lawmaker would allow schools to be used to promote the overthrow of the U.S. government, and let teachers in public district classrooms "inculcate in the mind of any pupil a preference for communism," according to a traditional values advocacy organization.

"Just when we thought the indoctrination in California's public schools couldn't get any worse, state lawmakers introduce bills that will further brainwash innocent children," said a statement from Capitol Resource Institute, a traditional values and family advocacy organization based in California.

"We're in California. Of course it has a chance of succeeding," CRI spokeswoman Karen England told WND. "These people get bolder and bolder every year."

Her organization, along with several others, already has been battling over lawmakers' orders, already placed in law, that public schools in the state teach nothing but positive messages about homosexuality, transsexuality, bisexuality and other alternative lifestyles.

Those plans are being challenged in court, by citizens' attempts to place the issue on the 2008 election ballot and by family advocates who say the best option is for families to abandon public schools for private schools or other alternatives. http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=58061

I would like to see “conservatives” cease spending a dime on doing ANYTHING to “save” or “improve” government child detention centers. Let them get worse and worse—teach communism, sodomy, etc., all they want. There are parents who will NEVER remove their children, since they provide seven or more hours a day of child warehousing. Those parents would never provide a better “education” for their children, even if given the opportunity.

The majority of parents will never consider removing their children from these “free” schools until they get worse. So they must be allowed to get worse. As soon as less than half of children are detained in these hellholes, maybe the votes can be found to abolish them.

BTW: Since when do government schools NOT teach Communism.

They are paid for by taking money from everyone, and providing a one-size-fits-all “free” service. That’s Communism.

We have 90% of American children LIVING Communism for 12 years of their lives, and are surprised that they vote for Communism when they reach 18?

We’re seeing the results of a selfish generation.

You can have all the toys you want, just put your kids in daycare so you can have two incomes.

There was a vanity thread today from someone who was asking how to stop her NINETEEN MONTH OLD who was in “private school” from biting the other kids.

After a number of “WHY ISN’T THE KID HOME WITH YOU” posts...
the poster finally saw the light.

What do you think 45 people (or thereabouts) are going to accomplish?

Myself, I’d rather they come right out and say it!

Less wear-n-tear on the mind-housing-groups of those who would never “get it” otherwise.

>>>I teach communism in my publik hi scewl class. I tell my students that their assignment is a two page paper about communism. Then I tell them that everyone will be given a C+. Each year, only one or two students figure it out and simply hand in a piece of paper with their name on it. There are always the overachievers who actually write the paper. It provides a great learning experience!<<<

I have an even more unnerving experience for my little high schoolers. (We read “One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich” so they can understand the pleasantries of socialism.)

One day, when the students walk in, I grab all the backbacks as they enter the room. Private property has been banned, of course. Then I distribute the wealth found in those backpacks, to each according to their need. Those who resist are immediately sent out of the room and shot (so to speak - the assistant principal is in on the act).

It always provokes good discussion afterward.

I don’t think that can be done where a Republican form of government is part of the Supreme Law of the land. I assume you were just being rhetorical, though it would certainly provide an object lesson for the rest of the country.

>Its called grass roots, try it some time.<

I saw how it worked with maintaining control over the illegal aliens. I saw how the presidential candidates who supported border control succeeded amongst their crowd.

When America voters are left with the current choices of president candidates to choose from and conservatives still don’t realize that the END is here it is obvious that they too have become Egyptions living in De Nile.

But MY child’s public school is excellent. There are some good teachers there. Who will pay for education if not for the government?

this bill does nothing of the sort. it just over turns a ban on registered member of the cpusa, and whoever else is classified as a “communist” on working in schools or using public property.

WND is hardly the place for level headed commentary
