The total of McCain and Huckleby votes in Ohio yesterday were approximately 955,000.
The total of Obama and Clinton votes in Ohio yesterday were approximately 2,150,000.
Clinton won by approximately only 227,000 votes.
Where were the Republicans? Did at least 227,000 Republicans crossover yesterday and vote for Hillary?
In Texas, Clinton won by approximately only 98,000 votes. There in Texas there was also a much smaller number of Republicans voting for McCain and Huckleby. It's sure very reasonable to think that at least 98,000 Republicans crossed over in Texas.

That’s what I think. Republicans just insured a Hillary/Obamessiah ticket.
Romney owns Talking Points Radio. He strikes a deal with McCain for Veep. Because Talking Points Radio has been so opposed to McCain, they have to figure out a way to help him avoid a brokered convention by winning Texas without appearing like total Flip-Floppers. The genius plan was to trick the anti McCain vote to go for Hillary instead of Huckabee, and by doing so, help clinch the nomination for McCain(Romney). It wasn't about Hillary, it was about Romney.

I was listening to Rush back on Feb. 26 and he was jokingly encouraging Republican voters to vote for Hillary in the Ohio primary, so that her and Obama would keep on going after each other. It was so funny and I almost wrecked the car because I was laughing so much!
Its not Rush’s fault. His mind is being warped by the same evil force that ALWAYS saves the KKKlintons. Time and again decent men have inexplicably thrown away their respectability by suddenly supporting these hellspawn.
I must be missing something, a brokered GOP convention? Huck wasn’t even close to McCain in delegates.
I’m with Kansasgirl, this was a ridiculous plan. 9% of republican voters in TX voted for hillary, giving her the victory and momentum with superdelegates. IMHO, a clinton obama ticket assures GOP defeat in November.
I get what your saying, I believe (but have no proof) that the Beast won Texas because of Rush. Rush followers out number any other media outlet 1,000 fold. Ohio is a different story.

It sounds like he is getting off on the media reaction to his idiocy. He is becoming a MSM attention whore.
He didn’t need to catch up to McCain, he just needed to keep him from getting 1191 pledged delegates. If Hukcabee wins Texas, it makes it much harder for McCain to clinch. If Rush had asked his followers to vote for a brokered convention, Huckabee would have won Ohio and Texas and we would have had a brokered convention.
Although I agree that Hillary will be the better “Uniter” for the Republicans, McCain makes it a long-shot. The best we can hope for is a Democratic Party that is still infighting at election time. Most Dems are racists at heart so their nature makes this scenario very likely.

Many references to here Ohio being “utterly depressed”. It’s true. For years the comments about the great economy have not been true for Ohio. And when I mention it, the kind of freeper replies I get are something like:
“Are you typing on a computer? Is your electicity on?”
“You’re doing fine, what’s your complaint?”
“Suck it up, Ohio needs to work harder.”
And of course:
“See what a Democrat governor does?”
Except Bob Taft (R), was responsible for much devistation, and corruption.
I think it’s going to be time to pay the piper this November. Ohio will be very blue.
The democrats crossed over and gave us McCain so the republicans crossed over and gave the democrats a dog fight that will involve a lot of time and expense. Good! You could be right--Republicans may be reaping the whirlwind. However, there may actually be a strategic outcome to it. By giving Hitlary the wins, she may be able to hang on until the convention during which time she and her clan will be putting lots of pressure on the superdelegates to vote for her. If she wins the nomination, then LOTS of Obama supporters are going to be pi$$ed big time and the backlash will be that they vote for McCain. He is, afterall, a "moderate" and more acceptable to the Dems. I'm not sure Obama supporters would even stand for him being the VP choice--they do NOT want to be second best.

Not so fast. Polling in Ohio has Obama leading McCain, by only a point or 2. Hillary polls better against McCain. Either way about 20% of the state is undecided,this state is a toss up or leans blue. McCain can win this though.

I'm so glad that you (and so many others here) are such brilliant political strategist and soooo politically savy and of course, are in possession of a crystal ball which allows all of you to "know with certainty," the outcome of events and the causation thereof.
Me, I'm just a regular 64 year old, semi retired, vet, whose been around and voting for 44 years and operates on personal experience and instincts, which have served me well up to now.
I'm a Conservative (NOT A REPUBLICAN) and this is the 1st time I voted for a Dhummy in 44 years, since I voted for LBJ
And while I've listened to Rush for 19 years, I am NOT a mind-numbed robot. I decided to do this several weeks ago, BEFORE Rush began to suggest this strategy.
Moreover, as much as I despise Hitlery, I fear Barack ("Peace Be Upon His Middle No Name") Obama even more.
As we speak, the RNC is besides themselves trying to figure out how to attack B.O., without seeming to be "attacking" him.

Moreover, if Hildabeast gets the nod, I believe that many blacks will be so pissed, they will stay home.

Last but not least, it is pure pleasure to F*ck with the Dhimis and create mischief and mayhem, which will be the case if The Witch can pull off a couple of wins and continues to campaign.
Does anyone doubt for one minute that the reason we are now saddled with one of the biggest RINO's in Congress is because the Dhimis did in fact use this very same tactic in the early primaries/caucuses?

Hey, the way I see it, I'm just following the lead of our presumptive leader McPain, as he preaches (AND PRACTICES) "reaching across the aisle," if you will.
Whether it works or not (to forment confusion, tumult, chaos, etc., within the D party) remains to be seen.
In the meantime, I would suggest that you and others tune it down a notch or 5 and let's just see how this all shakes out. There will be time enough down the road for recriminations (OR ADMISSIONS OF I TOLD YOU SO FROM EITHER ONE OF US)or Kudos.
As for me I have No Regrets.
Looks like Hillary is more beatable.
