Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton (N.Y.), buoyed by important victories in the Democratic primaries in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island, on Wednesday offered some words of warning to conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh, who had urged Republicans to vote for her as the presumptively easier Democrat to beat.
“Be careful what you wish for, Rush,” Clinton said on Fox News.
For the second time during this campaign season, the former first lady survived what many viewed as a potential knockout punch from frontrunning Sen. Barack Obama (Ill.). While Obama maintains a significant delegate lead, he was unable to seal the nominations Tuesday night, having to concede another two populous states to Clinton.
“By getting the most delegates, by having won twice as many states, by having a lead in the popular vote we feel as if we are on pace to get the nomination,” Obama said Wednesday morning in an appearance on the same network. “And it will take a little longer than would be true if we weren’t running against a Clinton, but we’re still going to end up getting it.”
However, instead of being able to focus on Sen. John McCain (Ariz.), the newly crowned Republican nominee, Obama must now continue to expend his considerable resources on the Democratic primary.
The Clinton campaign is seeking to use the breathing room the former first lady was given in polling places in Texas, Ohio and Rhode Island to map out its “path to the presidency,” as a memo from strategists Harold Ickes and Mark Penn was labeled.

Maybe all the Rush bashing is because these people know in their hear of hearts what a lame candidate lord McCain actually is. Allll the easier to do what liberals do and point an accusing finger to the first talk show host they can name. There sure is a massive amount of paralyzing fear of a women going on these day. An ugly absolutely chalk on the blackboard voice itching and witching day in and day out. Makes NO sense to be so paralyzed of her, that is unless there is NO confidence in their nominee.
Clinton getting the nom. is the only chance McCain has.

Did Rush's ratings go way up with Hillary in office (92-94)? Yes or no.
Obama is ahead...despite Clinton’s victories yesterday. She can not win with elected delegates. He won’t be the vp-she would. The Dems will not overturn the vote. Plus their are new polls out that indicate Obama can beat McCain while Hillary may not.

Uh, I don’t know. Unless (God forbid) there’s another terrorist attack or some such crisis, I don’t see women voters flocking to McCain. It’s the ex-wife vs. the cranky father-in-law matchup.

Repeating myself, but . . . all this stunt did was make it more likely that BOTH candidates will be on the ticket.

PA has a closed primary. Repubs can not vote for McCain. It is too late to change party registration also. We had our chance last night-thanks again Rush.

Without Rush’s little stunt then many more Repubs would have voted for Obama. To think that Rush did not have an effect is ridiculous.
It may not be a "big deal" to you, but it deals a serious blow to suppression of free speech and sets a horrible precedent...or did that fact escape you?
McCain does NOT want the fairness doctrine back.
Well, I believe that he’s as arrogant as she is. And ego is very difficult to control. Especially when you’re surrounded by people that tell you you’re great all the time. So I think it’s a 50/50 proposition. It will probably depend on how PA goes and the remainging races. If he has a delegate lead, a popular vote lead, he might reject the offer. If hillary has sizeable wins I think he takes the veep.
Given the state of political affairs and it wasn't that McCain got cheated as he won the nomination it made political sense to me.... Now I got to say I was most thankful that I have already voted and did not have to attempt to convince myself to cast a vote for Hillary. I really do not know that I could have done it myself.

You can’t be serious. Santorum couldn’t/didn’t pull 40% of the vote in his failed Senatotial re-election effort in PA. Robert “mumbles” Casey crushed him. You want to hang him on McCain to help take PA and OH ?
