Rush Wins?

K-Lo, writing here from Austin, Texas.

Not sure why the networks haven’t picked up on this, but there is definitely a sizable portion of the vote in Texas tonight comprised of Republican voters looking to “game” the Democratic primary. I spoke with numerous friends today, who claim to be Republican, who said they voted for Sen Clinton with the thought that it will prolong the Dem in-fighting and therefore benefit Republicans. I won’t debate the merits of their argument here, but the phenomenon (Republicans voting for Sen Clinton to gain the system) is real and I think material to the results. I’m surprised I haven’t seen anyone reporting it and just how large the impact might be. I’m sure it is contributing to the number of voters deciding in the final three days to support Sen. Clinton. Would be curious to hear your contributors comment on this dynamic. The VRWC conspires to save the Clinton campaign?

Limbaugh is right on this one. There is an ultimate happy ending in the picture if H KKKlintler can win the dem nomination by gaming; the dem party would implode the next day and cease to exist in anything like its present form. Obama would probably end up running with a third party and one of the third parties would be positioned to take the place of the dems. For KKKlintler to win in November she’d need something like the black death to kill off 2/3 of the American people between now and then; she enters the race with more than 50% negatives, i.e. more than half the people would vote for Daffy or Donald Duck over her, and third party efforts are not going to save her.

Don’t forget the weak economy and a general hatred of NAFTA.

"If we end up with President Hillary, who won?"

If we end up with President McCain, the poster boy for RINOism, who won? Certainly not conservatives. McCain has powerful alliances with libs while flying the flag of conservatism. Do you want conservatives blamed for a presidency indistinguishable from Hillary's?

If Hillary wins, it is really a third term for Bill Clinton. I can not bear the thought of this disgraced man inviting Danny DeVito over so he can urinate on the Lincoln bed again..God help us.

“You are a fool....”

Thanks for the civil dialogue. /s

Can I prove that Hillary won because X amount of Republicans crossed over and voted for her, based upon marching orders from Rush.

No.

There have been many examples right here on Free Republic, though, from folks who have taken Rush’s advice.

Which I think was incredibly stupid.

I think Hillary knew what was going on - she’s not stupid! I’m on every Republican’s call list and Monday evening I got my first call EVER from a Democrat asking me to vote for them - caller - Hillary! It was the very last campaign call I received before Tuesday!

McCain would be a horrible, horrible president. Worse than Hillary

Yea. Especially when it comes to appointing leftist nutcases to the court. We could expect McCain to appoint clones for Ginsberg and Stevens, just like Hillary, right? Get a grip, man.

Listening to Ingraham now.

She is so stupid, she is giddy about last night. She doesn’t even have a clue, talking about how Rush still has mojo.

It makes you wonder if she really cares, it’s all such a game for her.

There is a part of me that would have liked to see a stake driven in the "political" heart of Clinton; however, the possibility of a split democrat convention is now very possible.
What if it is close at the convention and the streets in Denver are flooded with protesters all screeming for Clinton's head when it looks like she is going to steal the nomination? Wot fun that would be!!

The Dems will never let it get that far. I think after the Primaries next week...Hillary may get out. She can not win without the super delegates thwarting the voters. Once, super delegates make it very clear that they won’t do this, she is out. I think the latest would be right after PA. Also, she won’t accept a VP job either. She would be hoping Obama loses and she comes in as the front runner in 2012.

Why not? The Dems did it in the early Republican primaries.

In fact, when asked what they would do if Obama was not the nominee, many said they would support McCain instead of Mrs. Clinton. Just a note on that little forum...did anyone see when Frank Luntz asked if they would tear up their draft cards? When one kid said he would proudly serve our country, Frank replied with the liberal talking point—but what about our being hated around the world??? I was screaming at the TV!!!

With the Clintons, the country was basically on auto pilot and did just fine!

Just fine? What country were you living in during the Clinton presidency? We had stricter gun laws passed, we had the Waco and Randy Weaver incidents and many other direct assaults on the constitution but I guess that is "fine" with you. Clinton tried to spend but we elected a republican congress and senate and stopped him. Things were not "just fine" under Clinton. Clinton years led us directly to 9/11, Clinton years ignored the attacks on the US by Muslims and encouraged their suicidal behavior, these are just some of the things that happened during the great Clintons presidency. As I already asked: Where were you during the Clinton years?

What factors do you see, pointing otherwise?

I'm not sure what he/she sees, but thihgs to consider are that the Beast is despised by at least 45% of Americans. As for Obama, he's on record spouting some really frightening things about nuclear and other weapon freezes. Add to that his determination to surrender in Iraq, which may be a complete losing issue by November. Then consider that he hasn't really been tested and his youthful extreme-leftist activities might not sit well with people that now find him attractive. Beyond all that, nobody really knows what the race/Kenya/Muslim ties thing will add up to. Throw in the fact that many dems and independents might like the fact that many conservatives dislike McCain.

Add it all up, and seems plausible that McCain could do quite well. Or maybe not. Who knows?

Karl was excellent indeed...I’m still fuming over Luntz and the college kids, though.

They all love Rush and cheer him on with he slams Dingy Harry and Co. Rush is right about Obama being untouchable and the GOP hiding under the bed in fear of attacking him. So let Clinton Inc. do the dirty work!

"If Hillary is elected in November than we can all blame Rush and his huge ego."

Why not blame the people who actually voted for her? Aren't they ultimately responsible?

If going Linden LaRouche this fall is your way of teaching us some kind of lesson, you’re going to be learning a lot over the next 8 years.

Read my posting history before accusing me of crap like that.
