Here is a link to the Texas Secretary of States election results page, for the Republican primary in the 14th US House district. It is updated every five minutes. The only results so far are from the voters who voted before election day. In those results, Ron Paul is leading his only opponent better than 2:1. Thanks to Eric Garris for this news.
Dennis Kucinich is also running for re-election, but the Ohio results are delayed, because the poll hours have been extended.
Aw man, why you killing my buzz?
Wow, that was fast!
Paultards will smoke an extra bong tonight to celebrate.
THANK YOU, TROOFERS AND CODE PINKERS!
It’s still early.
With less than 10% of precincts counting, it’s way too soon to call this one.
One thing is clear, there are so few Republicans voting today in the primary that only the most motivated voters will effect the outcome (and the Dementobots may carry the day for their hero). The bulk of the GOP voters are crossing over to vote on the Dem side for the Presidential race.
Paul: 10,665
Peden: 4,938
Total votes: 15,603

Peden's not going to catch him. This one's in the bag.
Too bad. We need more CPA’s in Congress.

I expect to catch hell for this, but while I think Paul would have made a terrible President, it does look to me like he was a pretty good Congressman. His election numbers give every indication that he served his constituents well (of course I live in an area not far from where Jim McDermott wins by those margins too.)
As opposed to a medical doctor who's self-taught in classical free-market economics and is a Constitutionalist? Look, this was simply a case where Peden bit off more than he can chew. He even praised Paul a year ago and then ran a negative campaign against him.
Be happy that Paul won his Congressional seat again rather than losing and going 3rd party and handing the WH to Hillary or Obama.
At one point, you had made similar predictions about his presidential primary results.
As I recall, you ate a lot of crow over those predictions.
You are a nearly perfect negative indicator.
