My daughter had tubes put in her ears when she was 2 or so. (I know, minor..) I’ll never forgot the feeling of seeing her walk away holding the nurses hand with her touche sticking out the back of her gown waving at us, and feeling so helpless. It’s hard putting responsibility for your child completely in someone elses hands for the first time...
