Can Huckabee still pull this thing out and if so how?
Why has Free Republic so quickly pulled Huckabee's name out of "Popular Keywords" list especially since he's the closest thing by a (few thousand) country mile(s) to a conservative in this crazy race?
“What’s the delegate count?”
That’s a loaded question. There are about a half-dozen ways to count delegates, and several involve estimates that generate different results from different sources.
The most optimistic number is the current McCain “hard total” of only 308 delegates:

In defense of Jim Robinson, there was a period of several days last week when very few Huckabee articles were posted. If by some miracle we hold McCain below 50 percent in Texas—thereby causing the at-large delegates to be distributed proportionally—maybe he’ll put it back up.
We didn’t pull Huckabee from the list. The popular keyword list is driven by the posters. It’s updated automatically based on the keywords posted on articles. If you want “Huckabee” back on the popularity list, all you have to do is post more Huckabee articles.
