It kinda does feel like that. This’ll be us under the Mandate as well.
Maybe we lost the war a long time ago. Islamist populations are growing at an alarming rate all over the globe and the world does very little to stop the cancerous growth. Think France where 20% of the population is Muslim, for example.
They just did that study - 3 our of 4 Mosques in the U.S. are preaching extremism.
For some reason, I am having problems linking things on my email and have to get hubby to troubleshoot, but there are some great videos you can access on YouTube OR even Palestinian Media Watch. Very, very scary......
I also read a book awhile back, “Infiltration” and that was very disconcerting.
Now now. We must be tolerant and politically correct. It’s a religion of peace
Did you read the book, “Infiltration?”
That book was creepy. It brought up all the lawsuits being brought against the airlines and other corporations whenever we “profile” or do anything that the Muslims think is offensive. The companies, including the airlines, have more often than not CAVED. I don’t think people are worried about being branded an Islamophobe, it’s just that people are very scared of having their pants sued off!
Another good reason for us to keep our amendments intact. Of course, if enough of them got into Congress, and so on, they could have our Constitution amended and that’s what I think they plan to do. Look up what’s happened in Hamtramck, MI.
Where did you find that poster?
I heard about what happened up in Hamtramck MI as well. Doesn’t make me feel to great to have my state just one border away from yours!
I sure hope you wore your shorts Granny!! Let them sneer. I would’ve smiled at them and told them I’d be prayin’ for them. They sure need it.
I never heard that quote. That’s cool. Did Jefferson really say that?
The nation we HAD is worth it, NOT the one we HAVE.
Unfortunately, I am afraid that we are going to have to be taken to our collective knees before we will stand and fight. We may not survive, but some of us will die with our boots on, with pride in what we had fought for.
I once raised Dobermans. They would attack on command, or if you threatened me in any way. Now I have a Chesapeake Bay Retriever. He will not hurt you, until or unless he is convinced that you mean to harm me, then, he would be willing to fight to his death to protect me.
Too bad our world isn’t as simple, but just maybe, maybe.... we need to see daily carnage and horror played out in our own streets, and feel, and see, and fear our own destruction, before we all get off of our collective a$$es and fight back..... with more than just words.
Not a whole lot of respect for the Constitution on this thread. I thought someone had to break a law to be prosecuted?
“They just did that study - 3 our of 4 Mosques in the U.S. are preaching extremism.”
Where I’m from they haven’t needed to “infiltrate”. The Roman Catholic bishop and Catholic Charities moved them in wholesale and his priests now urge on Catholic politicians, like our own mayor, to threaten the Free Speech rights of anyone who speaks out against Mohammedanism and its pedophile prophet. The one bright light is that apparently the mayor was spoken to by someone with more earthly authority than the bishop and when informed of the criminal penalties for a conspiracy to deprive individuals of their constitutional rights, he seems to have shut up, at least for now.
“Bush Jr. has poured Islam into our homeland. His train-wreck legacy will include the largest influx of Muslims in U.S. history.”
People on the right are concerned that Obama may be a Mohammedan. Maybe he is. I must say, however, that Bush gives more indications of being one than Obama does.
This conservative won't be a part of it. ;-)

Your point is well taken.
But - as no less than a Supreme Court Justice once pointed out - the Constitution is NOT a suicide pact.
The Constitution was designed to protect men who accepted its precepts and principles. But should a document such as the Constitution protect those who do not?
This is the conondrum we face.
We can choose to extend Constitutional protection to those who will - if given the power - will overthrow that very creed (that offered them protection) and replace it with a government and culture that is anathema to everything we (who respect the Constitution) hold dear. And, by so doing, we can lower our guard and risk the collapse of our Constitution, our culture, our nation.
Or we can face one of the harshest and most unpleasant realities of the modern-day world: that not all men are created equal, and not all are deserving of Constitutional protection solely because of an evil cult which dwels inside of them. And further, just as we took action to quell Nazism during World War II, we can (we must?) take pre-emptive action to remove from our midst those who embrace such a cult and culture as diametrically opposed to ours, as is Islam.
If we are unwilling even to consider this, we face the same fate as the [former] Christians of Western Europe.
Perhaps what I’ve written is blashphemy to those who hold the Constitution dear. So be it. As that other famous document says, “life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness”. Will Islam - if it ever gains the power to do so - grant us as much?

Americans are too busy watching TV and other important endeavors to have time to worry about that unimportant stuff.
We only need look at the situation in EUrabia to see how they wish to play it out.
From the article:
Undercover counterterrorism agents who speak Arabic and understand the culture have conducted reconnaissance at some 2,300 mosques and centers in every state of the union. A recent Freedom House study concluded that the vast majority are inciting insurrection and jihad through sermons by Saudi-trained imams and anti-Western literature, videos and textbooks.
Sheesh, individuals who understand their so-called "religion," culture and nuances in language are often ignored even here on FReep...
... so it is worth repeating. ;oP
