Nothing but the plain and simple truth. If McCain loses, Osamabama (or Hillary) wins.

Do you deny that fact?

You don’t like the truth? Tough luck.

As someone once said, you can deny reality, but you can’t avoid the consequences of denying reality.

If you choose to vote irrationally on the basis of your emotions, that’s your choice. And if I choose to vote rationally on the basis of rational thinking, that’s mine.

“Conservatives are not divided. The Republican Party is divided, and has decided to throw conservatives under the bus. Conservatives are united now more than ever. WE are saying very loud and clear: “NO MORE RINOs!””

This takes the cake. Like him or not, McCain won the Republican primary. You don’t like it, so you are going to desert the Republicans and vote on the basis of your emotions, with no concern for the good of the nation. If you want to see what a “RINO” looks like, look in the friggin’ mirror.

If you think McCain is as bad as Osamabama, you are pathetically ignorant about both McCain *and* Osamabama. According to the ACU, McCain has a lifetime conservative rating of 82%, and Osamabama is the most liberal sitting US Senator — more liberal than even Teddy Kennedy!

“Republican die-hards such as yourself will see a landslide this November that will be of McGovern proportions. Then maybe you’ll figure it out. But I doubt it.”

You must be smoking some pretty strong stuff if you think Osamabama will win in a landslide. In fact, I think he could *lose* in a landslide once the public learns more about him. But it will be less of a landslide than it could be if RINO deserters like you sit in the corner and pout.

Oh, Please! Questions like this are just insulting to the voting base. There are some issues that are more important than just constant derision of the opposite party. Do you want folks to just sit back as Republicans give us Prescription Drug programs, Amnesty, No-Child-Left-Behind, Law of the Sea, Global Warming regulation? That's precisely the Socialist legislation you will get with a Socialist like McCain.

As someone once said, you can deny reality, but you can’t avoid the consequences of denying reality.

You should heed that advice by accepting the fact the GOP is now run by Socialists trying to convince people they are Conservatives.

If you choose to vote irrationally on the basis of your emotions, that’s your choice.

Do you mean like the irrational basis of the McCain ACU ratings I posted to you earlier?

And if I choose to vote rationally on the basis of rational thinking, that’s mine.

There is no rationality in towing the party line knowing it is run by Socialists. Unless you are accepting incremental Socialism.

“Do you mean like the irrational basis of the McCain ACU ratings I posted to you earlier?”

You put no stock in the ACU ratings — and yet you call yourself a conservative?

As I said before, I don’t claim that the ACU ratings tell the whole story, but certainly they say something.

By the way, of all those issues that the Republicans have disappointed you on (and I agree with you on most of them), please tell me which ones the Democrats have done better on. (I won’t hold my breath waiting for the answer to that one.)

At least McCain understands that the war on terrorism is real and that victory is not optional. That’s a lot more than can be said for Osamabama. If that “issue” is not important enough for you, than you are a friggin’ deserter — nothing more, nothing less.

Do you have an intellect? Free will? Do you even respect the concept of "free will"? There is something greater than "party." Emotions? Good of my nation? You are delusional. I do not betray principles in order to be admired by cads, such as yourself. If you think John McCain is good for this nation, than I cannot help you... you are lost in some fantasy.

McCain is a declared enemy of the US Constitution... a document he has willfully and repeatedly betrayed with glee, so to serve his own self-interests, namely the silencing of political opponents.

John McCain has the ego of Adolph Hitler, the moral compass of Friedrich Nietzsche, and the temperament of Joseph Stalin. McCain is a sociopath and a pathological liar. He possess ALL the qualities of a tyrannical dictator, and is the last person on Earth that should have control of this country's nuclear arsenal.

"If you think McCain is as bad as Osamabama, you are pathetically ignorant about both McCain *and* Osamabama ..."

I made no such statement, so it is you who condemns your own ignorance.

"According to the ACU, McCain has a lifetime conservative rating of 82%, ..."

You had better do more research on that tired response. McCain's so-called ACU rating has been in steady decline over the years. He becomes worse with age. Nice try, but no sale, quisling.

"Osamabama is the most liberal sitting US Senator — more liberal than even Teddy Kennedy!"

That explains why McCain and Kennedy are such good legislative buddies. Now go away before I have to "mess ya up"... I do not suffer fools lightly.

I don't put any stock in some group that arbitrarily creates it's own criteria and then tries to pass it off as the definitive word on Conservatism especially when they give a Socialist like McCain a rating of 82%.

As I said before, I don’t claim that the ACU ratings tell the whole story, but certainly they say something.

I agree. It says to me to take their very subjective ratings with a grain of salt.

By the way, of all those issues that the Republicans have disappointed you on (and I agree with you on most of them), please tell me which ones the Democrats have done better on.

None and that is exactly my point! The GOP has moved so far to the left it has that it has aligned itself with the Socialist Democrats and therefore are essentially one party.

At least McCain understands that the war on terrorism is real and that victory is not optional.

Think again. The WOT is not just in Afghanistan and Iraq. It is a global problem including our borders. It is a fact terrorists have posed and are posing as illegal aliens to enter the country and destroy us from within our own borders. Despite this fact McCain favors granting amnesty to illegal aliens. His WOT is just as dangerous as the Socialist Democrats but for a different reason.

If that “issue” is not important enough for you, than you are a friggin’ deserter — nothing more, nothing less.

Get a grip. You keep ranting about me being emotional and you rational even though you are the one spewing all the insults and innuendos.

You’re right. I shouldn’t have called you a “friggin’ deserter.” I should have just called you a deserter, which is exactly what you are. No adjectives needed.

Pal, you have got some serious personality problems. For a man convinced of “intelligent design” (no disagreement) you sure seem to lack its benefits.

Then you should not have “wasted your time” with personal attacks in the first place, dude.

BTW, I guess you must believe Jim Robinson to be a “nutball kook” as well?

If John Robinson said anything like this:

“John McCain has the ego of Adolph Hitler, the moral compass of Friedrich Nietzsche, and the temperament of Joseph Stalin. McCain is a sociopath and a pathological liar. He possess ALL the qualities of a tyrannical dictator, and is the last person on Earth that should have control of this country’s nuclear arsenal.”

then, yes, that would make him a nutball kook too. But I doubt he ever wrote anything like that.

Excerpts from 03/23/2006:

Re: Your attempt to shut down political free speech on the Internet

John McCain, you treasonous bastard, ...

... Your McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform legislation is a treasonous act. You and your cohorts are attempting to subvert the Constitution of the United States of America, the very same constitution that you swore an oath to defend, so help you God! That makes you a domestic enemy of that great document and a traitor to your country. Yes, and Benedict Arnold was a war hero before he turned traitor too.

How dare you even think that you are qualified to sit in the oval office! ... You miserable excuse for a two-bit political hack, you're not even qualified to shine Ronald Reagan's boots. ... It'll be a cold day in hell before a traitor like you ever receives my vote. ...

You can take your fascist campaign finance laws and the jackbooted FEC anti-free-speech enforcers you are empowering and put them where the sun don't shine. ...

*** Jim Robinson also included this piece in his "rant" against John McCain:

Paraphrased from In the Face of Evil: Reagan's War in Word and Deed:

The Beast never dies, it simply changes form. The Beast has known many forms: Bolshevism, communism, Nazism, fascism. The Beast has had many names: Lenin, Stalin, Mussolini, Hitler, Tojo, Mao, Pol Pot.

The Beast cannot co-exist with freedom. The very first freedom lost is the freedom of speech, then religion, knowledge and the arts. Anything that empowers the individual must be destroyed. The state must control all.

Power to the state.

Power as an end to itself.>p> Those who speak out against the Beast are labeled extremists, radicals, warmongers. Churchill, McCarthy, Reagan.

The Beast must be contained, appeased. We must have "Detente" at any cost. Direct confrontation of the Beast must be avoided.

Appease him and pray the wolf may pass our door.

Free speech must die.

The Beast never dies.

Bookmark it and we shall see. But what I do in November doesn't matter; even if you get some conservatives to hold their noses and vote for the party RINO one more time, you can never get enough of them to vote for McCain to get close. You won't get the activists, you will never convince a good number of conservatives, and, unless Obama makes some mistakes along the way, he will use his melifluous style to lead the children into danger. More likely, McCain will be the one to have meltdowns along the way.

You realize he was going to switch parties and give the Dems the majority in 2001, when Jeffords beat him to it, right? Then, he wanted Kerry to pick him as a running mate. We don't have a Republican nominee this year.

The man is a loose cannon with a mouht that explodes before its brain kicks in.

McCain doesn’t deserve to sit in the White House, never will, and won’t get my vote.

The ONLY way to stick it to the Chrissy Whitmans, Tom Keans, Martinez’s, Roves, etc. is to vote third party or write in and hope America survives Obama.

So, is Jim Robinson going to stand there with his thumb in his rear end and do nothing to stop Osamabama from winning? Is he going to let his emotional hatred for McCain stop him from voting rationally? If so, then I’d say he is really a liberal at heart.

I agree, by the way, that the McCain-Feingold law was an assault on free speech. But fortunately we have a supreme court to stop such laws. And if you think that is the only assault on the Constitution, you are not well informed. What happened to the 9th and 10th Amendments? They’re ancient history.

If you think McCain is bad for the Constitution, just wait and see what Osamabama will do. He is what you want, so don’t complain if you get him.

Unfortunately, rational voters like me will have to live with the consequences of your emotionally based irrationality.

Actually, those two statements are not established facts, and cannot be proven or disproven. There have been reports suggesting that both of the assertions occurred. I think there is good evidence that one or both events did happen, but it is entirely possible that they might not have. Maybe someday we will find out.

What is known is that McCain has stabbed the party in the back on a number of issues. A partial list includes: taxes, immigration, the gang of 14, Guantanamo, and the McCain Feingold 1st Amendment Repeal Act. He loves and respects the most leftist Dems out there. He spits on and insults the conservatives of his own party, as he plots to bring about their demise.

You wanna try to deny those facts, genius?

As I said, we don't have a Republican in the race.
