Former CBS anchor Dan Rather has accused those he called "corporate overlords" at CBS of "working in secret collusion with the powers in Washington" to intrude into television newsrooms.
Rather made the remarks as he returned to a courtroom in New York to demand that CBS release documents by a private investigator hired by the network to look into claims made in Rather's story about George W. Bush's Texas Air National Guard service. The story led to Rather's dismissal from the anchor's post and eventually from the network. CBS has claimed that the same documents will reinforce its own position and will be made public if and when Rather's lawsuit goes to trial.
Well I denounce Rather.
Crybaby
Well I think that Dan Rather should spend one thousand years FROZEN IN CARBONITE!
That would give him time to think about what he’s done.
I’m sure all “journalists” resent it when the need of the company to make a profit interferes with their constant production of anti-American propaganda.
God, he’s crazy. Rubber room crazy.
I don’t know what the frequency is, but it’s starting to go haywire.
Can somebody post the link where Dan Rather dismissed evidence of the Clinton affair with Ms. Lewinsky?
It should always be posted with stories of his fake but true assault on American journalism.
Let me guess - Cronkite et al worked with the CIA to sell the moon landing hoax. What's the frequency, Kenneth?
Geez, he has finally lost what remained of his mind! Corporate overlords. Next: They will be sapping his vital bodily fluids.
LoL. He is good for a laugh now and then, ever since Buckhead nailed him real good.
Where is Viking Kitties? They are the Overlords!
Daniel Irvin Rather, Jr. (born October 31, 1931) is a former news anchor for the CBS Evening News and is now managing editor and anchor of a television news magazine, Dan Rather Reports, on the cable channel HDNet. Rather was anchor of the CBS Evening News for 24 years, from March 9, 1981 to March 9, 2005. He also contributed to CBS' 60 Minutes. Rather left CBS Evening News in 2005 and the network itself in 2006. On September 19, 2007, Rather filed a $70 million lawsuit against the network, its former parent company Viacom Inc., and three of his former bosses. Rather said he was denied airtime on 60 Minutes, among other complaints outlined in the lawsuit, CBS Radio reported.
Rather is a lying POS that just canât give up the limelight. I think he taught the hilderbeast everything she knows. She will never go willingly or quietly either. Two years from now we will be hearing how Obama stole her chance for greatness!!!!!
Has he produced his documents proving that Les Moonves got special treatment in the military yet, or is the copy machine still broke in the funny farm lobby?
