released a report concluding that although federal
agents had mishandled evidence, they had neither started

That is true. I am learning more and more about this story. Keep in mind my priorities at the time was drinking beer and having a good time. I don’t apologize for that because of course I am much more mature today than back then and didn’t fully pay attention to the story except for the snippets I saw. I just wish that some people would be accountable for it today. President Bush could have opened the case up since it happened on the Democratic watch. (I am not bashing the Bush Administration at all just saying they could have done this).

When it came time for the feds to put up or shut up, they took their ball and went home rather than have a respected third-party investigation prove their original case was based on a pack of lies.
Thus, the reason why they needed the FLIR video 'debate'.
They needed to divert attention away from the hard evidence, such as the 'machine guns' and the bodies, which proved their crimes.

I am not going to go through your quote as it takes along time and I would probably end up wrong anyway. I just think that STFU does nothing productive that is all. Maybe saying that I was a snot nosed brat who did not care about the real world would have been more acceptable and true than STFU.
There were a number of small reasons tossed about. There was one of the guys who was a gun dealer and he was behind on his taxes. No scary black guns, mostly cheap stuff.
Then there was a souvenir grenade that fell out of it’s package at the post office got that prompted a call to the BATfags. I think that may have started the surveilance.
There was also the rumour of a secret software that the government was trying to cover up.

This was supposed to be the reason Weaver was attacked, because he wouldn’t help the feds get some neighbor who was involved. One of the Seventh Day Adventists was supposed to have some files about it. This was mentioned earlier in the thread.
But keep in mind, they still had the taste of human blood in their mouths from the murders at Ruby Ridge, there was a big budget thing coming up and the mental deficients in the BATfag were just itching to storm a place and make a big show to justify their huge budget and all that new Ninja equipment.
It could really boil down to a bunch of out of control crazies with shiny new guns and Ninja suits, blundering their way into a mass murder that had to be covered up and cleaned up by the FBI.
No one's really sure why it happened. The ex-wife was one of the instigators who claimed child-abuse. Another was the blind-man who also claimed to have received 'extensive weapons training' while at Mt.C. I'm not really sure where she is. The last I heard, she was in Hawaii.
Accountable? Hell the FBI goon in charge of this was frigging promoted. Not one single Federal Agent received so much as a paid suspension or a five dollar fine. Not one.

It didn't. This incident began under President George Herbert Walker Bush. His BATF Chief spent 2 years planning this little raid.
While the murderous ending to this happened under Clinton, it was conceived, planned, and carried out under a Republican administration.

It is a symptom of the cancer that has metastasized throughout the bureaucracy. The Republic did not cut out the cancer and is now on its deathbed as a result.
Some believe that while there will be a few more elections, this one was the last chance at a real one.

That'll be tough. Every one of them was sentenced to prison terms in excess of 50 years for 'weapons violations'.
They now reside in various Federal Prisons around the country.

I disagree. It's always productive to tell someone who doesn't have a clue what he's talking about to zip it. This allows more time for those of us who actually know what we're talking about to seriously analyze things.
You could have spent the time you spent spouting ignorance to actually learn something. That would have been a productive use of your time.

Possibly, but it would have been a good deal less succinct.
Do yourself a favor and take some time to learn what really happened at Waco. Once you realize for yourself that what happened there was the largest case of cold blooded Government murder since the Trail Of Tears you'll be a much better citizen.
And a much better ally in the fight to preserve our Freedom.

There are some of the opinion that the 'survivors' are really just another layer of disinformation. Clive Doyle, for example, was supposedly at Mt.C. during the siege and on April 19, yet was more concerned about the safety of his pet dog than of his 18 year-old daughter. He testified that he hadn't spoken to her or seen are all day on the 19th. He went back into the burning building 3 times to save his dog, but made no effort to save his daughter.
