John McCain in Richardson Texas Tomorrow?
I heard that John McCain will be in Richardson Texas tomorrow, Feb 28. I could not locate any info, finally on the Channel 11 website there is one obscure reference
John McCain
Thursday, February 28:
Texas Instruments Employee Town Hall Meeting
Richardson Fabrication Plant
300 West Renner Road
Richardson, TX 75080
Program Begins at 2:15pm
Sounds like a controlled environment to me! If any of the DFW area FReepers are TIers you might consider going. Heck, if you are feeling brave you might even try and ask him about his intentions regarding signing any bills regarding immigration (amnesty enabling) or gun control / assault weapon bans.
Also, if anyone knows if he is going to be anywhere else besides TI please post it.
Thanks!
TLI
Conservatives have to be brave and ask him straight questions
Do you think it will be the same 100 people show up.
Huckabee, McCain, Hillary, Obama, and Ron Paul were all invited to TI.
McCain has accepted. I don’t know about the others (might be on different days).
Should not be open to the public. It’s an employee town hall meeting from 2:15 to 4 PM at RFAB.
I am so excited!/ NOT
Interesting. It was on Channel 11 news (TV) this morning at about 6:05am cst.
Deja vu here, only one appearance, lazy, no fire, no effort in the campain, not showing up till the middle of the afternoon...
I’m sure he has Perry’s GOP henchman covering for him wherever he moves in Texas.
if you are feeling brave you might even try and ask him about his intentions regarding signing any bills regarding immigration (amnesty enabling) or gun control

McCain had a townhall meeting in TX this morning
When asked about the illegal aliens he gavew the we’re a Judeo-christian nationm and therefore humane and fair speech
:(
IOW, he is still pushing amnesty. That’s just peachy, and I am shocked, shocked I tell you.
McCain's got a strange group around him---BUT McC says he won't "pander" to so/cons to get this important constituency behind his candidacy. According to McQueeg, it's called "pandering" only when applied to conservatives.
McC has no problem pandering to illegals McCain chose a dual-loyalty traitor to be his "Hispanic Outreach Director." Talk about pandering-----McCain said he chose Hernandez because he agrees with his positions.
Juan Hernandez was born in Dallas and decided as an adult to become a dual-national Mexican citizen. His last verifiable job was serving in Mexican President Vicente Fox's cabinet as Fox's "American Reconquista Director." Hernandez then worked for Bush hater George Soros' international foundations---(one such foundation published Hernendez's book that taunts Americans).
Hernandez believes all illegal Mexicans and Mexican-Americans in the USA should become dual citizens and consider themselves Mexicans first, "to the 8th generation." The "New American Pioneers" proclaimed in his book are the illegal alien invaders he urges to become settlers in the USA for "Reconquista"---the plan to take back the SW.
===================================
Another group switch-hitting to McCain is Billy Kristol (Fox pundit) his daddy, and their crowd.
The Kristols are cheerleaders for the current admin's most destructive polices---including the twice-failed illegals amnesty plan.
The Kristols are also the architects of Giuliani's failed strategy to religiously cleanse the Repub party and kick conservatievs to the curb. They switched to McCain when their boy Giuliani tanked like a deadweight going down a 300 ft cistern.
MESSAGES TO LEGISLATORS
(1) Oppose the new 5-year amnesty bill.
(2) Oppose the $1.5 BILLION funding Mexico is seeking from Bush.

Mexican President Felipe Calderon, who has has publicly stated his concern for the "growing harassment" and "frank persecution" of Mexicans in the United States, will make his first official visit to California Wednesday and will meet with immigrant leaders among others. Speaking to the Mexican government's migrant assistance agency in November, his comments about "persecution" appear to have been aimed at U.S. presidential candidates who voiced their desire to curb illegal immigration. He also expressed disappointment at Congress' inability to agree on an immigration reform measure. While in the Golden State, he will address the state Legislature and attend a private lunch meeting with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Assembly Speaker Fabian Nunez, and other officials. According to George Grayson, a government professor at the College of William and Mary in Virginia who specializes in Mexico, Calderon also is coming to the United States to apply political pressure on U.S. lawmakers. ---SNIP--Calderon wants his 1.4 billion in US taxpayer loot - no questions asked. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1969534/posts

Five-year Amnesty Bill Under Discussion

"Some House Democrats are having behind-the-scenes discussions about creating a special visa for illegal aliens they believe will enjoy considerable Republican support. Under the plan, illegal aliens who can prove they have jobs, pay a fine, and pass a criminal background heck will receive the gift of legal status for 5 years. The plan is designed to attract pro-business Republicans and those who backed the McCain-Kennedy amnesty bill by also increasing the number of visas issued for technical, temporary and agricultural workers."........(Excerpt) Read more at numbersusa.com http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1972338/posts

IOW, he is still pushing amnesty...
No matter how many times I try to moderate my views towards him, I am dragged back to my original position that I could never vote for this man.
He can change my mind via my tagline.
For whatever his reasons are, you can COUNT on Juan to never stop till he gets an amnesty passed. He constantly avoids any question on amnesty, just as he did in San Antonio today. So much for his CPAC “git tuff” speech.
Why folks can’t see he is such a security risk is beyond me. If we had a sitting President captured by full blown enemy forces and held prisoner for five years without any knowledge of what they were really doing to him, would we let that guy waltz right back into the White House?
Is he campaigning to be Obama’s running mate?
I wonder if MxCain will even allow a VP. He is such a nutcase in his own way who would want the job?
That’s a few miles from my house! I think I’ll make plans to skip that event!
