I don’t know this guy Cunningham, but it doesn’t sound like it required a rebuke from McCain.

If he’s not careful, he’ll give back all the capital he gained on the right from the Times broo-hah.

Since when did we find it necessary to apologize by simply stating someone’s whole name?

Much LESS apologize for SOMEONE ELSE announcing an opponents entire name?

LOONY!

His worst sin was referring to Barak Hussein Obama as Barak Hussein Obama.

He said that islamo-sympathizer Obama would continue to be an islamo-sypathizer as president.

He said that Obama, of the Chicago-Daley political machine, was part fo the Chicago-Daley mob (i.e., political machine)

This was a HORRIBLE move by McCain.

Just when I have 'thrown in the towel' and decided to support him,,,,,he comes up with something this sickening. Unbelievable.

RINOs like McCain love to be patted on the head by liberals. George Bush is the same way. These guys have no trouble denouncing members of their own party who are to the right of them. They don't hesitate to use terms such as "racist" (amnesty) or "sexist" (the Miers debacle) to marginalize fellow Republicans. They'll proudly blast supporters who play a little rough. But they're perfectly submissive when dealing with the Democrats to their left. Ted Kennedy can call Bush every vile name in the book and Bush will still give him awards and call him a great American. McCain's trying to get the New York Times to praise him again just days after they openly attacked him.

Here’s the link to see the video of Bill’s entire speech: http://700wlw.com/pages/onair_willie.html

The bottom line is, McCain and his fellow libs have their panties in a wad over Bill repeatedly using Obama’s full name — Barack Hussein Obama. (Seriously.)

I expect John McCain was rubber-banded at some Arizona ranch about 30 years ago.

He’s been steering left ever since.

If Cunningham has not learned by now that when you lie down with the dogs you get up with fleas, he never will.

Any Conservative that has any interaction with Mc Cain is going to get screwed by Mc Cain.

Well, it’s not like Cunningham has been a McCain advocate. In fact, McCain was his 4th choice. Earlier in the primary season, he expressed admiration for Hunter, Huckabee and Mitt. (Though he never endorsed anyone.)

Bill said he got a call out of the blue yesterday from the McCain campaign asking him to warm up the crowd at this rally. And Bill being Bill, he gladly accepted the invitation to rev up the crowd.

But make no mistake: Cunningham is loving every minute of this, as his radio station.

...or vote McCain in order to really VOTE AGAINST either Barack Obama or Hillary Clinton. The way I see it, any conservative third party candidate for POTUS or any conservative Independent for POTUS won’t actually win because they will truly fail to get a majority of the popular vote, and they will also indirectly help the Democrat nominee win. Like it or not, McCain will truly come the closest to actually picking conservative judges whenever any vacancies do open up at the federal level, and a truly conservative majority in the next Senate will also help to truly reject any “too leftist” judicial candidates by either a President Obama, a President Hillary Clinton, or a President McCain. Judges last longer than Presidents most of the time, and they also have a lot of power. I will probably end up VOTING MCCAIN IN ORDER TO VOTE AGAINST EITHER OBAMA OR HILLARY CLINTON.

I made a public pledge on FR as to what I would do, three months ago, so I must honor that.

Kinda like uptight muslims being offended by images of Mohammad?

Prisoners do NOT have the option of saying "No" to a release order. They could have easily put him on an airplane to a country which was not a party to the conflict.

VERY good point! And why would they want to release him early anyway?

His comment about Obama being a part of the Chicago-Daley Mob would be objectionable if there were an actual criminal family known as the Chicago-Daley Mob. There isn’t.

Of course there is; it's teh Daly machine and it runs Chicago.

I don't hate McCain and I will vote regardless, just frustrated that McCain seems to want to provoke conservatives at every turn. I want to vote for him as the more conservative of the two finalist in this election. I want to vote for McCain because I believe he will do what it takes to win completely in Iraq. I want to vote McCain because we have potential Supreme court nominees coming up. The problem is every time I plead with others to vote for the guy he takes a stick and wacks conservative across the knuckles. Its dis-hearting and makes me damn embarrassed to have to ask others to support him. If there was not so much at stake I would take a pass this election and concentrate on family, sports and a little golf, the country might go to hell in a hand basket but I could at least improve my handicap.

This is utterly bogus. He ahs done everythign he coudl to stop conservative judges. He said he would NOT appoint a judge like Alito because he "wears his conservatism on his sleeve." The Gang of 14, which he helped organize, left numerous conservative judges out to dry.

And remember what McCain-style Republicans really do. it was McCain-style Republicans who gave us Stevens, Souter, Harry Blackmun, William Brennan, Earl Warren, and others.

This argument about the judges is pure B-O-L-O-G-N-A.
