It's probably no surprise to most of you that Ben & Jerry have endorsed Barack Obama for president. To honor Senator Obama (see following article), GeorgiaDawg32 invited us to suggest new ice cream flavors that we think Ben and Jerry should issue to commemorate this auspicious occasion. See
Thanks to a number of us at FR, a list of our top 25 suggestions has been compiled and is being made available to Ben and Jerry to help them in this endeavor. Maybe you have some additions to the list?

Ben and Jerry Endorse Barack Obama for President

Burlington, VT Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield, co-founders of Ben and Jerry's, publically announced their endorsement of Barack Obama for President today. Joined by U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy, the former John Edwards supporters said they believe Barack Obama is the best candidate to unite America and finally tackle the challenges facing our nation. "Barack Obama believes that the special interests in Washington shouldn't drown out the voices and basic needs of Americans," Greenfield said. "When Barack Obama is President, we will finally have a president who is committed to ensuring all Americans have access to affordable health care and our children get the education they deserve."
Senator Leahy unveiled a 60-second radio ad, entitled "Important" which he and his wife Marcelle recorded in support of Senator Obama. The ad, which will begin airing on Wednesday, February 18, stresses Obama's judgment to lead and ability to bring real change we can believe in.
Ben and Jerry, along with Senator Leahy, drove to American Flatbread in Burlington in "ObamaMobiles" which they designed to help get out the vote for Vermont's March 4th primary. Said Cohen, "The ObamaMobiles are true vehicles for change. There's a lot at stake in this election. All Vermonters need to make their voices heard and vote."

And since when is the word Negro racist? Like in the united Negro College Fund?
Again you have never heard an uneducated White person say the term Gubmint? When did that become a black stereotype word? and Obama is only half black so that makes him half white too so he is an interacial candidate not a Black one so lets get the facts straight.
I’ve already answered this in the post to which your reply. You have only repeated yourself, so I will not answer again.
You see what we are up against in the fall now don’t you... and he calls himself a Conservative... Imagine the attacks on free speech that the liberals will raise anytime you disagree with a Policy decision of Obama he can’t be doing it because it is simply based on his policies of social change no it will be disagreement because you are intolerant, hate filled, racist, Conservatives....
Good luck with that.

Fer all us rednecks there’s Cowchip Crunch. We’re being fed BS. They just can’t seem to make it tasty.
No you didn’t answer anything you assumed that making light of Obama’s social policy issues is racist and it isn’t and I am offended that you think that way.
It is half of his platform...
We have a Ben & Jerry’s in Metairie, LA. It’s in a funky little mini-mall on Veterans Hwy. (our main drag in Met. and there is only one or two cars in front of it when I pass. I am hoping for a going out of business sign on it one day. I will NEVER buy one lick of ice cream from those liberal leftists who have made their money on Capitalism!!! Yet have contempt for it - hypocrites!
Oh well, I guess Haagen-Daz will benefit (that is, at least while capitalism is still legal ...)
I referred specifically to numbers 8, 10, and 15. I did not question the names with words like chocolate, mocha, etc. I see no problem with those.
But, at least, I'm glad this list won't be sent directly to Ben & Jerry.
Hammer and Sickle Popsicle
# 18 on the list!
Oreo.
No fancy name needed!
Don’t eat the yellow snow cones....
If Obama is half white and all whites are racist by nature then he is half racist.
Is he trying to get Bill Clinton on board, now?
Good luck with that.
Not every charge of racism is false. I think that I have already mentioned that fact. But some of it is justified, and my charge here is obviously justified to anyone who would consider it unbiasedly. There is racism among the Democrats (and that could be their undoing this year), but unfortunately there is a good bit among so called conservatives.
If you think though, that your type of racism is a winning formula for November, you are sillier than I thought. These kinds of efforts are harmful to conservatives, and that is why I object to it so strongly. I know what we are up against, and I don't think we need the help of those who don't know the difference between the right hand and their left.
Has Sharia Sherbet been suggested?
(I don’t think Obama’s a secret Islamist, I just think we’ll all be under Sharia law sometime soon if this twit gets in for eight years.)
