Report: Photo Showing Obama in Somali Garb Circulated by Clinton Campaign Source

A photo showing Barack Obama dressed in Somali garb is being circulated by campaign staffers working for Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, according to DrudgeReport.com.

FOX News is working to confirm the report.

The photo was taken in 2006 during a trip through Africa. Obama was dressed as a Somali elder during a visit to southwestern Kenya, said the Drudge Report, which said a Clinton staff member had provided the photo to the Web site.

I was about to post the same thing. I've seen photos of the big summit meetings where all the world leaders dress in the garb of the host country.

As much as I dislike Obama, this is much ado about nothing IMHO.

This photo doesn’t LOOK good. However- what looks even worse is that Hillary’s campaign is making it a big deal. They should have let surrogates pass it around- for them to have direct association with it may be one of the final nails in her coffin.

Ordinarily, he has a rather lanky, elegant appearance but this is not a good look.

Yes, Bush does occasionally don some kind of native garb, but somehow he manages to look good in it ... and yet, I can’t quite see Bush in a muslim outfit.

FWIW, I lean more towards dems on issues of the environment. The status quo is not simply acceptable here, especially when the money is being sent to our sworn enemies.

This photo was in a tabloid according to somebody who printed it on another thread. Perhaps Clinton circulated this, but I will wait for some proof. There are much better reasons not to vote for Obama than this photo.

I don’t want this thread to be hijacked, but this is more than simply oil independence. It means supporting alternative energies with tax credits, increasing MPG etc.

If we don’t lead, others will, and the USA will be an also-ran in the future economy.

Obama won his senate seat by starting a whisper campaign against his Repub rival and then getting a fellow Daley hack judge to open sealed divorce papers .
