CLINTON STAFFERS CIRCULATE 'DRESSED' OBAMA Mon Feb 25 2008 06:51:00 ET
With a week to go until the Texas and Ohio primaries, stressed Clinton staffers circulated a photo over the weekend of a "dressed" Barack Obama.
The photo, taken in 2006, shows the Democrat frontrunner fitted as a Somali Elder, during his visit to Wajir, a rural area in northeastern Kenya.
The senator was on a five-country tour of Africa.
"Wouldn't we be seeing this on the cover of every magazine if it were HRC?" questioned one campaign staffer, in an email obtained by the DRUDGE REPORT.
In December, the campaign asked one of its volunteer county coordinators in Iowa to step down after the person forwarded an e-mail falsely stating that Barack Obama is a Muslim.
Obama campaign manager David Plouffe quickly accused the Clinton campaign Monday of 'shameful offensive fear-mongering' for circulating the snap.
Clinton campaign manager Maggie Williams responds: "If Barack Obama's campaign wants to suggest that a photo of him wearing traditional Somali clothing is divisive, they should be ashamed."

Actually, I was making a random comment ...
That doesn’t mean Obama’s religious choice is fluid. Thank God that he recognizes that Jesus is Lord and has publicly acknowledged this. I am a non-denominational Christian and my parents were raised Baptists, but I am not going to slip on a banana peel and suddenly become a Baptist. Do you agree with every ideology that your siblings believe? My brother is an atheist and a liberal (our phone conversations are one big argument). But that has no effect on MY religious or political beliefs.
Is this documented anywhere? If so, please post as I am not so quick to believe he actually said this.
According to the Quran a muslim is permitted to lie to any non-muslim. Also, I find it strange that his grandfather, a radical muslim, is not condeming his grandson's non muslim status.
Honestly, I really don't believe anything Obama says about his religious affiliations; as he has stated in other articles that he enjoys ALL religions and doesn't consider one to be higher than the other. That doesn't sound like "Jesus is Lord" to me.

Don’t be an idiot - of course I don’t want the muslim to win. I’m just saying there is so little difference between McCain and the two dems, he can’t and won’t win.
Actually let me modify that a tiny bit. The only way I see McCain winning is if the super delegates hand the dem nomination to Hillary. If that happens, I suppose there will be enough angry people on that side of the aisle casting spite votes to McCain (to spite Hillary) to help him beat her - but that seems like a real long shot.
If it’s him vs. the muslim... I dunno - as much as I hate it, I think the muslim will win.

I said in my post that there was nothing wrong, just as there is nothing wrong with going to a foreign country and playing dress-up in local gear.

I have had concerns about Senator Obama,s honesty regarding his so called Christian faith.
I called The United Church of Christ in Chicago Illinois, where Senator Obama is a member. If Senator Obama were indeed a Christian, he would be regarded as an “Apostate” which according to Islamic Law, would mean he would be subject to a death warrant imposed upon anyone who leaves Islam, according to the Prophet Mohammed. Many muslims who have left Islam have been murdered on this basis worldwide. Putting Islamic law aside, Obama would still be condemned by Islam. However, in Senator Obama’s instance, Muslims in America are joyously happy to think that Obama would be a Muslim President in the white House. Obama is deceiving America. Muslims would not be endorsing a Muslim who left Islam and became a Christian.
It is important to note that I had four witnesses to this telephone conversation with his church. The date, time and length of the entire conversation can be verified by phone records. The following is the conversation I had with the church, regarding his membership there.
“My name is Usama, and I am from Egypt. I am interested in joining the church. I need to ask some questions please.” The operator directed me to the membership office. I proceeded to ask questions that only a Muslim would ask. “What is the difference between Baptists and your church?” She responded, “ We believe exactly what Baptists believe.” My second question was, “How big is your church and what kind of church is it?” She responded, “We are a Black African American Church and we have 6000 members. I asked, “Do I have to attend Sunday school classes or other meetings to be a member?” She answered “No.” I asked, “Do I have to be baptized to join the church?” She again answered, “No.” I asked, “Do I have to pay a membership Fee to join?” Her answer was No. I then asked her what I needed to do to join. She told me that I needed to attend two Sunday School classes in a row and then I would walk the aisle. I replied, “That sounds easy. One last question please. IF I AM MUSLIM AND I BELIEVE IN PROPHET MOHAMMED, PEACE BE UPON HIM AND I ALSO BELIEVE IN JESUS, PEACE BE UPON HIM, DO I HAVE TO GIVE UP MY ISLAMIC FAITH TO BE A MEMBER IN YOUR CHURCH?” SHE ANSWERED, “NO. WE HAVE MANY MUSLIM MEMBERS IN OUR CHURCH.” It is important to note that Muslims would not attend church.
I asked her, “Is that how Senator Barak Hussein Obama became a member?” There was silence. I went on and stated that his father and step father were Muslims, his grandfathers and grandmother are Muslims, his uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces and cousins are Muslims and everyone in his family in Kenya are Muslims. She replied to me, “I am sorry, I cannot answer these questions for you.” I of course sensed she was uncomfortable. I ended the conversation by saying to her, “YOUR CHURCH HAS DONE GREAT HARM TO THIS COUNTRY BY COVERING A WOLF IN SHEEPS CLOTHING AND THAT WOLF IS SENATOR BORAK HUSSEIN OBAMA.” End of phone call.
This is fraud to the people of the United States of America.

I don´t see why this is desparate trickery. Hilary´s camp is just doing the job our press should be doing. You can bet Fred Thompson would have been roasted if he had worn something like that.

He is saying, essentially, that all people of faith – Christians, Jews, Muslims, animists, everyone – know the same God. It is, perhaps, an unlikely theological position for someone who places his faith squarely at the feet of Jesus to take. But that depends on how you hear a verse from the Gospel of St. John, where Jesus says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father but by me,” Obama says.
Interesting that you mention that Scripture where Jesus states that “No one comes unto the Father except by Me”, and what that says to me is that Jesus ALONE is the sole arbiter of who does, and who does not enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
The Lord alone knows the motives, intentions and the content of every human heart, and He will make the right decision every time, for all time.
Obama has stated that he has placed his faith in Jesus Christ. He may espouse other theological viewpoints that I may or may not agree with, but if he indeed has asked Christ to be his Saviour, that makes Obama my Brother in Christ and I will not second guess his salvation.
It doesn’t mean that I agree with his political views but so far as his spiritual condition is concerned, I take his words at face value.
