Well, the road construction thing was going over so well.

Interesting. Two different versions of events then.

Either way, I'm guessing this is the last we'll hear of this now.

“The windows of many buildings were shattered from the blast,” the agency said.

Sheesh!
The mullahcrats can’t get their stories straight. First construction blasting, now this. What’s next? A visiting Russian broke wind too close to a gas stove?

Considering Hamas is organizing a mass march upon Gaza as of today I suspect the possibility of anything right now, I just woke up, its a little after 2 am my time, I was up late waiting for the Nascar race to resume and now I have to be at work by 3, so I gotta run for now.

PS: Watch for any unusual “earthquakes” in Iran today.

“Iran: Widespread arrests by security forces on International Day of Native Language”
Saturday, 23 February 2008

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “NCRI - On the anniversary of International Day of Native Language, the State Security Forces (SSF) and agents of the Ministry of Intelligence and Security (MOIS) imposed an undeclared marshal law on many Iranian Northern provinces in fear of protests by mainly Azeri speaking population.”

ARTICLE SNIPPET: “In 2006, an insulting cartoon published in a government run paper sparked the uprising by people in the cities of Zanjan, Tabriz and Orumieh. Many government buildings and centers as well as the state-owned banks were torched in the demonstrations.

Protests erupted in Tabriz, simultaneously by students and bazaar merchants on two sides of the city and merged into one massive demonstration. People shouted anti-government slogans and clashed with SSF units. Tear gas were used to disperse the crowd and they were beaten up by batons. Many were arrested.”
