I have no issue with anyone choosing the evil of two lessers. I thank you for not bashing those of us that have made a different choice.

"What he was proposing was pure socialism, correction - communism, straight out of the teachings of Saul Alinsky and Karl Marx. It all centered around government control over everything from the energy industry, to home mortgages subsidized with our tax money, to government run healthcare."
Obammunism.
A demagogue running as a Third World dictator.

I would not rule out Lieberman. In their mind, I think they would believe this to be a real ticket of bipartisan unity.

...He will win FL against Obama no matter who he picks. Senior citizens will vote McCain.

"even with things like government spies on FR" You apparently were not around when discussions of the OKC bombing were underway on FR...

"We have to compromise and sacrifice for one another in order to get things done. Barack Obama is the only person in this race who understands that. That before we work on the problems, we have to fix our souls. Our souls are broken, in this nation. If we can't see ourselves in one another we will never make those sacrifices. So I am here right now because I am married to the only person in this race who has a chance of healing this nation.
Barack is more than ready. He will be ready today. He will be ready on day one, a year from now, five years from now, he is ready. That is not the question. The question is what are we ready for? Wait Wait Wait! Because we say we are ready for change. We say we are ready for change, but see, change is hard. Change will always be hard...
And Barack Obama, will require you to work. He is going to demand that you shed your cynicism. That you put down your division. That you come out of your isolation, that you move out of your comfort zone. That you push yourself to be better. And that you engage. Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual, uninvolved and uninformed."
~ Michelle Obama.Audio hereVideo here
Obama knows your soul is broken...
Obama will REQUIRE you to work.
Obama will DEMAND that you do what he says.
YOU are cynical...
YOU are uninvolved...
YOU are uninformed...
Barack will never allow you to go back to your lives as usual.

I agree. The situation borders on grave. But I think the solution lies in congress and not the presidency. Regardless of who wins that office, without a congress that can keep the executive in check, very bad things are on the way.
We need to devote way more time and effort in working to secure a congress that will protect us, than arguing about the degree of danger posed by all of these candidates.

yes, big government taking over the job that churches and non profits do so much better. If more of our money is not confiscated by the tax man, we help one and other alot. But liberalism and communism is lacking in faith in God so their faith goes to the state. Hence, anti-God evolutionism taught to kids in their public schools. They are just attempting to pass on their faith in a false God.

I have to concede. As much as I’m unhappy with McCain as a choice, this is truly a “lesser of two evils” scenario, and the evil that is Obama/Clinton is most diabolic, most heinous. McCain appears as a saint next to him regardless of his blemishes. Okay, that was a little thick. I’m in with McCain.

“Obama is the only reason that Im voting for McCain.”
No kidding. I don’t like McCain, but at least he’s not a die-hard marxist like Obambi and Hildabeast.
To: ought-six
That's the conclusion I came to. We must stop the empty suit.

I, too, will vote McCain, but I’m not happy. I’m curious whom he will choose for VP.

At this point the only person who will change my mind about McCain is Obama. I don’t believe anything McCain has to say, and his supporters can come with their name-calling vitriol until pigs fly. Obama has the power to scare me.

I’m wretching with this choice - it makes me sick.

“Senior citizens will vote McCain.”
Most of the seniors I know are pulling for the marxists, Obambi and Hildabeast.
