Why? Because we don't buy Sinclair's line of BS?
From what I've managed to glean from the various parts of the web (and those who have read the Globe story) Sinclair is dying from a brain tumor, he was institutionalized in a mental hospital suffering from acute schizophrenia, quite possibly at the time of the supposed encounter, has been a long term drug user, and has been convicted of fraud. Not exactly the most reliable witness to bank our election hopes on, right?
He claims to have an independent witness, but this so called driver has still not come forward (and never will, because he doesn't exist). Yes, he filed a law suit, but, guess what, anyone can file a lawsuit and cranks raise nuisance law auits all the time. It proves nothing. Note, he hasn't offered any proof of the charges of the claimed harassment either. Where are the phone records, the emails, the IM logs, or whatever? That is hard evidence, expect it probably doesn't exist either.
This is all the ravings of a sad, sick, dying man. I actually feel sorry for him, because I suspect in some ways he really does believe that his encounter with Obama happened. From what I have read, the MSM has already looked into it (do you really think they would pass up on a juicy story like this, even if it was one of their own?) and decided it simply doesn't pass the sniff test. In fact, it stinks to high heaven.
Face it. Without hard evidence or an independent witness, the only people who are going to believe there is merit to this story are those who wouldn't vote for him anyway. You saw the conservative reaction to the Times story when McCain was slimed. They rallied round and he managed to raise more money with one email than they had ever done before. Now, imagine the Obama supporters did the same thing. He would have more money than God pouring in, and with McCain already in a mess with the FEC, we can't afford that happening.
So, go ahead, slander us non-believers. Just don't come crying to us when it all backfires and it becomes an ugly mess for our side.
If you assign certain number values to the letters that make up his name, they total 666.

Why don’t we at least wait until tomorrow or Tuesday when Sinclair’s polygraph results are released. What will you say if both professional analysts say he is telling the truth? What if the limo driver is then brought public with a further damaging statement?
You argue as if you are an Obama supporter. I don’t yet accept that Sinclair is telling the truth, but I certainly won’t call him a liar until I see the evidence.
First of all, no one but a raving leftwing lickspittle would dismiss these allegations out of hand as if Obama was incapable o such lurid behvior.

Oh yes, and they are so reliable, aren't they? They printed a story about McCain with no evidence, but they won't print a story about a democrat with someone actually making a claim. Big difference.
Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. I do find it strange that Sinclair’s story would seem like “garbage” to many. We know for a fact, Obama is an admitted coke user. There is no great stretch to believe this guy’s story is true.
It would indeed be a wonderful world if we were able to argue the issues alone during a political season, but this is not reality. We must fight like our enemies.
We are faced with possibly electing someone who is a stealth muslim/cokehead with many skeletons in his closet. I have no problem casting a more curious eye toward someones tawdry story if he passes a polygraph (yeah, I know polygraphs aren’t foolproof, but if that’s the case, why are they still used?).
As far as people thinking Freepers are “nuts”, well, I got some bad news for you: Our political enemies already think that and put forward that notion anyway....

It does bother me to think that somehow because Obama is a Senator running for President that he is “above the fray” and isn’t simply some charismatic snake who engages in completely destructive, amoral behaviour.

Hell no. I have yet to even see the results. Besides, it was all you Obama fans saying that Polygraphs are not to be trusted.
I will overlook his Marxist family background and his Muslim influences. Much of that may be a thing of the past and not a part of his core beliefs now. However, there are those who are building a case for his Muslim leanings. I will leave that for others.
In 1979, at , Obama enters Occidental College in California. Obama's memoirs, "Dreams of My Father," describes his days at Occidental:
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists."
It is at Occidental that he vowed that he would "never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn't speak to my own. It was into my father’s image, the black man, son of Africa, that I’d packed all the attributes I sought in myself, the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela." It is the feelings that he expressed here, that caused him to leave Occidental and go to Columbia University in 1982.
Obama writes: "To admit our doubt and confusion to whites, to open up our psyches to general examination by those who had caused so much of the damage in the first place, seemed ludicrous, itself an expression of self-hatred."
At Columbia University Obama majors in political science with a specialization in international relations. He regularly attends Marxist conferences at Cooper Union and African cultural fairs in Brooklyn.
In 1983 Obama graduates from Columbia and moves to Chicago where he is employed as a community organizer for the Developing Communities Project (DCP) of the Calumet Community Religious Conference (CCRC). It is there that he is mentored by Mike Kruglik in the model of community agitation as promoted by the radical Marxist, Saul Alinsky :
The agitator's job, according to Alinsky, is first to bring folks to the "realization" that they are indeed miserable, that their misery is the fault of unresponsive governments or greedy corporations, then help them to bond together to demand what they deserve, and to make such an almighty stink that the dastardly governments and corporations will see imminent "self-interest" in granting whatever it is that will cause the harassment to cease.
Alinski's political thinking is reflected in this quote:
Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work inside the system, among not only the middle class but the 40 per cent of American families - more than seventy million people - whose income range from $5,000 to $10,000 a year [in 1971]. They cannot be dismissed by labeling them blue collar or hard hat. They will not continue to be relatively passive and slightly challenging. If we fail to communicate with them, if we don't encourage them to form alliances with us, they will move to the right. Maybe they will anyway, but let's not let it happen by default.."
In 1985 Obama refines his skills at at a Chicago housing project, Altgeld Gardens. His mentor during this period was the veteran local agitator, Hazel Johnson. It is here he once said, "We were always playing on the white man's court -- by the white man's rules. If the principal, or the coach, or a teacher wanted to spit in your face, he could, because he had the power and you didn't. The only thing you could choose was withdrawal into a smaller and smaller coil of rage."
It is at this time Obama joins the black nationalist church , Trinity United Church of Christ, headed by Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright. This church was founded on the teachings of Black Liberation Theology, a Marxist ideology that incorporates racist concepts.
It was Pope Benedict XVI who fought the infiltration of Marxists promoting Liberation Theology in the church. In "Liberation Theology" he wrote:
"...where the Marxist ideology of liberation had been consistently applied, a total lack of freedom had developed, whose horrors were now laid bare before the eyes of the entire world. Wherever politics tries to be redemptive, it is promising too much. Where it wishes to do the work of God, it becomes not divine, but demonic."
In 1988 Obama goes to Harvard Law School and graduates in 1991. He receives his Juris Doctor Law degree. He moves back to Chicago to take a position with the civil rights law firm Davis, Miner, Barnhill and Galland.
From these law offices, Obama was able to land himself a seat in the Illinois State Senate in 1995 by finding signature irregularities in nominating petitions for his opponent, Alice Palmer. During his run, he receives an endorsement from the Democrat Socialists of America.
He becomes an associate member of the Chicago branch of the DSA in 1996.
Based on his record in the State Senate and the U.S. Senate, we could expect more of the following:
-More funding of Planned Parenthood.
-Socialist medicine including abortion, pills for teens, etc., for free!
-More explicit sex ed in high school. Eventually in junior high!!
-ACLU-type removal of evidences of America’s Christian heritage.
-Same sex marriage. Pressure put on more companies and churches either to stop opposing homosexuality, or to actively support or endorse it.
-Socialist equalizing of people’s incomes—or at least lots of little attempts to move things even more in that direction.
-More regulative pressure on home schools, Christian schools and private schools in general.
-Jihadists around the world will see his election as a green light to pick up their tempo. (This may be the least likely outcome of any on the list. But still fairly likely.)
If that sounds extreme, consider that not only did Obama and Clinton oppose Alito (along with most of the Democrats) but he also opposed Roberts and filibustered Alito. So even a mild judicial conservative, which is what Alito and Roberts are, is intolerable to Obama. He only wants judges who will continue the court-led deconstruction of American society!
So even though I wrote with language that you consider "nutty," I pointed to Obama's underlying politics. There is need for someone with the right skills and time to work on uncovering what is really behind Obama. I do not profess to be a great wizard of what is needed for a true scholarly work. It is essential thing and an important thing to do for, as we all know, Obama might become President of the United States. At least our people have the right to know who they are voting for.
