I used to be in favor of legalizing pot. Willie Nelson is the main reason I changed my mind.
If Nelson’s remarks weren’t so incoherent, I’d be ticked at him. As it is, he and Castro are starting to look alike physically, which is weird.
I still enjoy some of his music, but it would be alot better if he wasn’t such a bird brain.

Willie Nelson is a mess, typical of potheads, from my observation. He’s just lucky that he was a liberal pothead living in Austin, with friends and acquaintances in high places, like Darryl Royal, for instance.
Potheads were saying the same thing about Nixon in 1972. They never seem to grow up do they.

Willie knows about dope, drinking, and having sex with groupies. He's a fair songwriter. Other than that, he's been drunk and stoned too long to have a coherent thought process.

I fully agree that the woman should never get into the White House again, not even as a visitor, but there are so many more valid reasons that that.

Willie Nelson wants President Bush impeached. I want Willie Neson tarred, feathered and run out of America on a rail along with all fascist liberals. And I am of those who disapprove of President Bush in on immigration and Kosovo and Israel and campaign finance reform.
But I know Willie can believe what he chooses to believe and therefore I choose to not associate with people like him.

Actually, I loved some of his music. Maybe that’s because I grew up in TX listening to him-—but he and I were both much younger back then—LOL! I never cared for his newer stuff, though.
The first time I saw him, I was struck by what a short little guy he is. He’s not a whole lot taller than me, and I’m 5’2.
It is not unusual to see him walking around town here in Austin. I pass his infamous Paleface ranch every I heard up HWY 71 going to our ranch. It is being developed in to something, now—but I haven’t heard what.
Every once in a while a Texan can be a big embarrassment. This is one of those times.
