When I was studying at the Berklee College of Music (Boston) in the 1970s, one of my professors was talking about tone deafness, which is an actual condition technically called “motorial amusia.” People who suffer from this condition lack pitch memory, and so are unable to hear one note in relation to the one that went before.
He cited Ted Kennedy as someone who was known to suffer from this condition. I always wondered if it was true. Thanks for providing irrefutable proof that it is after all these years.

I caught the video on the late news last night and realized he had to have fallen off the infamous wagon again. Too bad Chris Dodd didn’t join him for a duet.
