DC Gun Ban hearing--Join Second Amendment Sisters March 18 in Washington, DC

March 18 @ SCOTUS Building in Washington DC -- join Second Amendment Sisters in supporting Heller's right to keep and bear arms!

Second Amendment Sisters, Inc. has requested a permit to assemble at the U.S. Supreme Court Building on March 18, 2008 from 8:30 AM until 5:00 PM. The hearing is expected to start at 10:00 AM and run 2 hours or longer.

The SCOTUS building is located at First Street and Maryland Ave., NE and is open from 9:00 AM until 4:30 PM.

We have indicated people will carry signs and banners, and possibly use bullhorns. We are not planning any civil disobedience.

All of our members and friends from DC, Maryland, Virginia, and across the country are welcome to join us!

As a suggestion: They should have somebody in a cap-and-gown with a bull's eye painted on the back with a thick black line passing through it.

How about a sign that says: "Students want to get through college- Alive!"
Or: "Calculator, pencils, bluebook, Glock,--Check!"

This issue- the armed citizen-, is one I can no longer take lightly. Each day, each week, someone is harmed in a way that could have been prevented. Sometimes brutal, sometimes cruel,-- in most cases preventable.
