Imagine the transformative effects in the region, and indeed in the entire Muslim world, of achieving a secure and stable Iraq, friendly to the United States and victorious over al-Qaeda. Are the Democrats so intent on denying George Bush retroactive vindication for a war they insist is his that they would deny their own country a now-achievable victory?

I have heard democrats say they have no problem with immediate pull out even if it means thousands of Iraqis killed because it will be “Bush’s Fault”. This is beyond insanity in my opinion.

You bet they are. Its not so much George Bush as much as it is just having the power. They will stop at nothing for power. IMO half of the casualties of the war are related to the constant dem propaganda against the war especially from the Murtha mouth.

The truth is, the only body count the dems can justify is one of retreat.
They could lose a Division and not bat an eye, in fact it would called a sacrifice for peace.
The cowards believe retreating inside our borders ( flimsy as they are )will cause the world to suddenly embrace us as we spiral down into the same type of collectivist cesspool the rest of them live in.

Well then let me say, I think they should lock lefties up for treason, and their lawyers, disenfranchise several current voting blocs, mine/wall/booby-trap the border, Audit the Fed, Dissolve the IRS, ban Gubmint from school involvement, repeal about 3 Amendmants; All under the force of arms as is necessary. I guess you could say I would like to start restoring our former Constitutional Republic.
That would be Monday; wait to see what happens on Tuesday!

Just once in my otherwise pristine and pure youth I went to a “grasser” at Half A$$ed Moon Lake back in the ‘60s. I only drank Boones Farm Apple. I am reminded of the people that were at that event everytime I observe the audience at an Osama event as viewed on TV news. The same vacant or enthralled stares. My heart aches to think of our Sons and Daughters who fight to keep the thugs in Office, the Dims have always had a hand in provoking but when the Republicans respond we are trashed. I think of what Michelle said and consider the source, again our Military strides forward, continuing to do the job they were sent to do and are actually voted upon in S.F. to remove a recruiting office out. They want the protection but no visual signature from the men and women who fight and die for their protest rights. I will stop now, I have always been proud of my country, my President, our Fathers and Mothers who gave their all so we can experience something no other Nation will ever have in its existence.
