ROFLOL I have a dream for 2008 like I had in 2000 (they said W wouldn’t win) and 2004 (they said W wouldn’t serve two terms). HOOO RAH! Yes, I have a dream and that dream will come to pass.

Join the band wagon or get out of the way so you won’t get run over!

Where’s your standard pro-Huckabee-Hunter pic?! Do you really think your scoring points? One last one: Did Huckabee sign your kneepads?

The New York Slimes are going to unite the Republican Party behind John McCain, something he could never do on his own.

Bingo!

” Regardless of whether I am happy with the GOPs choice for the nominee, this is still wrong.

It would be wrong if they did it to someone that I liked. It would be wrong if they did it to Obama.

It’s bad journalism, plain and simple. “

This campaign is reminding me of reading “Bonfire Of The Vanities” (Gore Vidal), which is pretty much a parade of unlikeable people doing dishonorable things and getting themselves and everyone else trapped in their slimy pit of sleaze. There’s really nobody to like here. But I am rooting for the Times to take it up the — never mind.

What must it be like to be Gary Hart - to have a name that evokes laughter without any context or joke!

This lame 8 year old story was just an EXCUSE to be able to televise the LARRY SINCLAIR/OBAMA HOMO SEX/COCAINE story coming out next week after the polygraph. ...........they can then say they are fair and balanced lol.

Interesting. Use the more recent affair, which in fact isn’t very recent and has no evidence to support it, to go back to McCain’s divorce and his marriage to Cindy.

I have always thought that earlier episode was pretty cheesy, but it’s interesting how they take such old news and make it seem current. First tie it to a faked up affair and then tie it to a NY Times story that just appeared TODAY!

Of course, as McCain points out in Bumiller’s followup piece in The Times, The Times lacks any credibility.

Yes. This is a technique in which a “second-day lead” gives the original, if throughly bogus report an air of credibility. It was a technique perfected by the KGB in the way they would use African newspapers (that they controlled) to “break” stories and thus seduce European newspapers into picking up the stories and thus add credibility to completely fictionalized accounts of American atrocities in Vietnam (which had not occurred but never mind that). Very effective. The staff at the NY Times have studied their masters well.

This ticked me off. Forget about McLame. Think about his family!

The family born of his previous adultery? Just makes me dislike the SOB more, if it's true.

Look, everyone should prepare for the possibility that McCain did have sexual relations with that woman, whatever her name is. His denial was a little vague as it referenced the public trust more than the charge itself.

I’m not saying he did, I’m just saying the Times might be laying a trap here. Capitol Hill is just a cesspool of this sorta thing. The place crawls with attractive women on the make who have linked their careers to bagging “members.” It’s one of those transparent realities that no one talks much about.

If the Times is holding something back here it wouldn’t be surprising. They’d be playing the same game of Gotcha that was played with Gary Hart.

Actually Cindy looks really creepy. And the way she smiled . . . something is not right but I don’t know what. Maybe wrong makeup and way too much of it. Is the McCain-lobbist relationships the LA Times decided not to publish?

Yep, both stories could be true. And then there is Hillary and Human. Many posters have had no problem speculating about the latter.
