Hmmm...what’s Jesse doing these days? He’d be head and shoulders above the current POTUS wanna-bes. That suit just screams “brokered convention.”

Scientists themselves have squabbled over whether1.
they first emerged to keep warm, 2.
to enable the first airborne creatures to fly from the ground, or 3.
so they could glide from bough to bough in trees.Or, all of the above.

Père Chardin, whatever hoaxes he may or may not have pulled off, had nothing to do with "Piltdown Man."
His main thesis was that evolution was not anti-Christian, bu that evolution may have been a mechanism used by a creator.
I'm impressed about the mistresses ... the things you pick up around here!

it shows that in many cases, when an evolutionary stage is predicted by the theory, it can often be found in the fossil record. It is a question of time. That's what a scientific "theory" does, predict what evidence will subsequently be found. Evolution succeeds again.
Some day the Intelligent Designers might figure out what their "theory" predicts, and then if relevant evidence is found, they will have a small, very small, claim to some validity.
Are there any ID scientists doing any work? Anything? Anyone? ... Bueller? ... Bueller?

Those feathers look like they would have helped with keeping warm. I have often thought that feathered creatures and small and burrowing creatures survived major boloid (meteor/comet) hits because if the ozone layer was destroyed for a time they would have been protected from direct radiation. If they find longer feathers of this type, then I would take that as an argument for soaring or long semi-arial leaping as well.

I’m not sure about the Peking Man being a hoax. I think that since the war a lot of work has been done at the cave (Chacoutien or something like that) which has checked out at the 1/2 million year age. Also the Java remains also belong to that age group.

Peking Man wasn’t a hoax, but the fossils vanished during WWII (which started in China, not Europe); since the fossils are no longer available for study (except I think for some cast copies) their importance has declined.

“Now, the gays are going back to feather boas.”
Generally, when a species starts going gay too often, they stop having children and thereby stop evolving. Thus, the fossilized feather boas found in France disprove evolution.
