what should make you toss your tacos is that they are very loud and irritable minority who traffic in a subtle form of terrorism -- coercion with a smile -- and that any gain they make is in direct proportion to the apathy of those who say they know better.

Things won't have to get that bad if all those folks finally vote accordingly, i.e. against the left. If we're stuck with McCain, and it's not over yet, nobody is saying he's much to vote for. If we take back the Congress, McCain can be restrained from doing more damage. The opposition doesn't care if you get killed in their lust for power. The next two links make that pretty plain.

I disagree with McCain’s position on gun shows, but at least he has never proposed banning any type of firearm. The difference between McCain and Obama are very profound despite the rhetoric of some dienfranchised conservatives. McCain may be wrong on immigration, but at least we will be able to defend ourselves.
